    Hipcrease! A new term for my golf vocabulary! One of your best presentations ever. Very helpful.

    You do good work. No custom 'system', just the basics of golf every player needs to get right.

    Great video! This one focuses more on the backswing. Can you post a follow up on maintaining posture in the downswing/post impact?

    You have such great content. Really good instructor. This is soooo important for ball striking. I need to work on this myself. I’m a 3 hc, but I sometimes have poor ball striking days, with my irons. This is why. I need to feel my left obliques “crunch”, and my right obliques “stretch”(or extend), in the back swing, to get this right. Then, just the opposite through impact(right side crunch, left side extend). Oh, and far as loading the hips correctly…. I purposely overdid this yesterday, and drove it over a fairway bunker that I’ve NEVER carried before. I didn’t swing harder. I tapped into extra power, with no extra effort. I’ve played golf for 30 years, and I still sometimes discover that AH HA moment, where something different surprises me. Strange game….. lol I shot 1 under(71) from the 6520 yard tees the other day, with 2 swing thoughts…. Keeping good “width” in my backswing(hands far away from my head at the top), and a flat, or slightly bowed left wrist. I’m sure you’ve covered both of these topics before, because they are very important. Keep up the good work! I enjoy your channel.

      Fantastic!! Great playing. Yes loading the glutes via the hips is really the key. And yes...I do cover bow and width. Cornerstones of my teaching,

    Hi Christina. Quick question I am a senior player. Unfortunately I’ve got a lot of injuries. Before I had my right knee replace again I was a solid two handicap. Now I am really struggling. I took a lesson and was told to straighten my right as quick as I could on my backswing. Would I be losing my hip crease doing this. I do feel that I am coming out of my posture. I am going to try what you are saying in your lesson. I am also thinking I may send you a video of my swing for a lesson.

    One question. I thought you were "supposed" to almost straighten your left leg on the back swing. Im this video your was really bent. Thx

    • @MorePars
      @MorePars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll do a tip on this -great question. Short answer: how much you straighten leg depends on how a player rotates body

  • @thomasfraser9072

    Hi Christina love everyone of your videos except maybe this one.
    Bending your upper body with your hips and then consciously trying to stay down into your posture keeping a side bend as you swing your club may not very be as helpful to your average viewers as you may think.
    Might it be better to show exactly how to get into the correct athletic golf posture in the first place using the components of both legs and feet on the ground?
    Ben Hogan taught this exactly in his 5 lessons and then once knowing how to get into the correct athletic golf posture it simply becomes a matter of trusting your own swing to remain in the golf posture during the very brief time it take to complete your swing. Cheers🥂😊

    • @MorePars
      @MorePars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will do a tip on this. 👍 Setup and how you get into golf posture does set the stage but it doesn't guarantee good dynamic posture.

    • @thomasfraser9072
      @thomasfraser9072 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MorePars thank very much. I will be looking forward to this. Ha ha nothing in this world is ever guaranteed. Would you agree? But a great athletic posture as Hogan wrote years ago has sprung this old man into a great golf swing. The worse thing I was doing at my age and perhaps before was unknowingly bending from my neck; but I don’t think I ever slouched my back like an old man. Cheers
