Confucius 孔子 and Laozi 老子 who founded Confucianism and Daoism lived during the Spring-Autumn Period, where the Hundred Schools of Thousands 诸子百家 appeared (Confucianism, Daoism and Legalism were among them). Then came the Warring States Period where the final winner, seven states Qi 齐，Chu 楚，Han 韩，Yan 燕，Zhao 赵，Wei 魏，and Qin 秦states fought for supremacy. Eventually, Qin State conquered all other six states and reunified China, and founded the Qin Dynasty 秦朝 （221BC-206BC). Dujiangyan 都江堰 was built by Li Bing in the Qin state, one of the seven states of the Warring States Period before the reunification and the founding of the Qin Dynasty. Qin Dynasty emperor Qin Shihuang Ying Zheng who reunified China and founded the Qin Dynasty was the one who started building the Great Wall of China, and the Terra Cotta Army in Xi’an was part of his massive Mausoleum. Qing Dynasty 清朝was the last dynasty of China ruled by the Manchus, after the Chinese Han traitor Wu Sangui 吴三桂 opened the Shanhaiguan 山海关 （Shanhai Pass) and let in the Manchus. So don’t confuse the Qin Dynasty founded after the Qin state reunified China, with the last dynasty Qing Dynasty. ❤

Compared to the 3 Gorges Dam 22,500 Megawatts but still almost 5 times greater than the Hoover Dam which is 2000 MW.

Visited Dujiangyan twice. Yes, has to be the world's oldest irrigation system having being constructed around 250BC as part of the Qing dynasty.
