Fur Trapping Quick Tip #13

There are many options with securing cable extensions. This video discusses several that I have tried, and the pitfalls to some. The spring links are much more convenient, but do not provide the security of the quick links that screw together. Box swivels do a good job if you won't need to swap the trap out, and it never hurts to have an extra swivel in the mix, but are not very user friendly for opening and closing j hooks. This quick tip series is designed to give you quick tips that you can put into action right away to make you a more successful trapper.
