Great use of material on hand, simple and clever idea. Good example of don’t overly complicate the project.

one thing to add: if you find the stand slipping around (because your book is too light, for example), adhere a few strips of cabinet liner extending from each foot to the bottom of the base, and that should take care of it. (Alternatively, if your stand is always in one place, just lay a larger piece of cabinet liner underneath the whole stand.) thanks OP for the instructions

Anand Mandal buy a wood sheet(it's very cheap) and make it from that, it will last longer

it wont last long if you don't take care of things very well .. but if you noticed she double layered the cardboard, you can add a third if you like or find thicker cardboard. Also note she used hot glue which is better as it sticks very strong much better than your elmers glue or.. you can use a really strong super glue either or will work just fine.
sure if you add another layer or find thicker cardboard it should last you a good while. provide you aren't hulk smashing it to death.

It’s ok but I need it to support WAY THICKER books because I read thick books

She's using a glue stick from a hot melt glue gun, but using a candle flame to heat it instead of an electric glue gun, which is pretty clever!

Very hard to understand how to make the actual "stand". It is the most important point. Video itself is not well done, the choice of screen change motif is distracting to the eye (squares) and adds to the confusion. If it was just photos showing visual steps at glance, it would work better for me at least.
