John is a great guy I have a small forestry company in PA. Got into a good bit of high tensile wire, got my head all bound up. I tried and tried different things to get it out. Finally ran out of my own ideas so I gave John a call, we don't know each other at all, but he asked me what happened talked to me about what he thought like we were old friends. Classy guy
should be a metallic filter-breather plug in the bottom of the cap. they seal up and can't be cleaned. it will at some point cut out your engine. JD mechanic told me to just run a small drill through the filter. it ran fine after that.
Referring to that patch you mulched, they might be able to hit it with a no-till drill with aggressive coulters to cut throughout the mat and get cover crops planted for feed
Hi Jon, your 850 might have a defective fuel cap (it is not venting) or the vent line for the tank is clogged. That gives you a place to start looking anyway. Great video as always…..take care my friend!
Jon, you are crushing this job with the 210 and the 850! All I can say is bring your Reese’s and your marshmallows because that going to be one awesome bonfire! Take care and I’ll see y’all down the road…Upstate Brush Control Crew rides again!!!
“If your 550B has original cap, there is no vent in cap. Deere did not vent cap on dozer until G series. If you look close into fuel neck, you will see a small metal tube about 1/8 to 3/16 inch in diameter. It runs down inside of tank and exits out bottom of fuel tank. I have seen small sticks dirt etc. get jammed into the tube. You will see a little round boss that appears to be welded to bottom of tank you should see a very small portion of tube protruding from it. Mud Dobers like it also.” 🤷♂️
Unreal Jon. Can't even imagine our forefathers clearing forest by hand with axe. crosscut saw, mules, horses & oxen to be able to grow crops & provide pasture for animals. Plus looking at the old hand-hewn timbers & wide boards how large the trees where with all their stumps, roots & limb debris
Nice to see you smiling, looks like job is going well, that is gonna be one large fire, just keep enjoying what you do and carry on.nice size piece of property.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Jon, how did the sweet gum trees come to South Carolina? Was it like the ornamental pear trees that were planted in Ohio? I know that no new pear trees can be planted in Ohio because they are invasive and smell like rotting fish in the spring when they flower. Love the channel! ✌️😎
This a great Areal to root out from Trees and Thicket, what You have make. The Pile to Burn great, this give a great Fire. You must hope of a Day with Rain and without a Wind. Thanks for this Video. Gladden my of the Continuation. 👍💪
Look into the fuel tank filler hole and you should find a small steel tube coming through the bottom of the tank to nearly the top of the tank this is the vent and can some times plug up
I’m not sure on dozer cap b/c my case dozer and truck both build up pressure kinda opposite of what yours is doing. Does your cap not have a breather on it?
Someone needs to set up up a land clearly competition between you & Letsdig18 haha Both seem to have very similar technique & speed. I'm sure Clint at C&C would know the answer to the Dozer fuel cap in a 2 minute phone call.
Fuel cap may need to be changed out most have vents in top, yours may not be venting 😊 get ya a root rake for dozer. Maybe a Hrady Rake if ya get enough work to justified having one around for finish work
If the fuel cap is original then it may need to be replaced with a newer cap that does vent. Oohhh, do we get to see the bonfire? No, I am not a pyromaniac! 😂
Y'all got mud daubers in the vent tube. Yeah that's what it is mud daubers. A man ought to get his self a stick and run it up on in there and clean out what the mud dauber done did.

John, the 850 would be cool with a root rake on it.
Later-on mods.
But good clearing job.
That pile is massive, you have got to show us the burn, I never seen a fire that big, nice job.
Referring to that patch you mulched, they might be able to hit it with a no-till drill with aggressive coulters to cut throughout the mat and get cover crops planted for feed
Keep up the great work!
Thanks, will do!
Great job Jon!

It should have a breather vent on the cap plastic tanks with will shrink under the vacuum

I hope you show it light up. Lol I love fire light. Reminds me of being younger and able to camp. Now my idea of camping is At a Five Star Hotel..

If you're having any problems with your dozer, like your fuel cap, ask CNC equipment.
Ask fori'll tell you anything you need to know

it has been awhile since i have seen the boys too always nice to see the kids helping
They are typically in school. They will be in the next video
It is a shame the debris will be getting burned. Personally I would have it grubbed, mulched, and the mulch piled up to make a compost pile.
This was the best option for the customer.
