I started playing again about a week ago and my old way of easily stacking farms wouldn't work. I came across your first video and, like you said, it was too fast. This one is great and I'm about to try it out. Thanks!
If you have a problem with deleting the last benches you can also delete a foundation that's not under the plantation and replace it with stars down. This gave me the line of site I required. Great job on the video Vomakith, you make all of our Pal time a bit easier. :)
Subbed. I came back to the game and saw those stacked plantations and I was told to go to your channel for a guide and so I did :D Very easy to follow guide
One thing I found it easier with building and demolitioning the lowest parts of the structure is to demo a foundation nearby, that lets you as a player get to lower elevation. Just don't demo a foundation right under the plantations or you can't really build it back
Thanks again for this video. I just used it to make my first wheat stack as part of my cake making plans. I found a nice way to get that bottom one is if you can put some stairs going down near it you can slowly walk up them to see underneath. Sort of like going prone on your stomach to get lower, but not
for that very last set of benches i have been destroying the foundation 1 space over, next to the build and put a set of stairs in the hole so that i can walk slightly up the foundation so that i am at eye level of the lowest set of benches.. this obviously only works with foundations elevated off of the ground but this may be helpful to some who dont just build flat on the ground.
Might be as I am on Xbox or might just be my game but I could not for the life of me get the small stools to snap into place. Ended up playing around and was able to use just the benches to build the infrastructure, once you have the "T" benches placed snap to the top cross bench and place a new bench onto the downstroke bench, from there snap to the new bench on the 2nd level and you can place your next cross bar and then the downstrokes. Repeat and then add plantations!
Well, for my second base it worked way better. It worked for both, foundation and roof. Only thing is that the extra floor space to reach the last bench is kinda required. Thanks again!

very nice tips and tricks regarding the alignment, and to see that you can actually walk up on the side is also a neat little trick, so pals won't get stuck walking towards the plantations. My one question is, what do you use to bring up that blue line at the start when doing the alignments?
I hold Ctrl on PC, target near to where I'm trying to build and it should align. Try it out first on different object to get an understanding of how it works. have you tried returning to Title and re-enter your server? That happens it usually bugs out whenever you place a new plantation. Also make sure you have the bench placed in the center of the plantation, if it's a little bit out then it won't snap. I tried to make it like that, the Struckture to place the Fields on was no Problem but I couldn't place the benches on the side of the Field even after i got back to Titel and load in again. I don't know why maybe there is a difference in the PC and PS5 Version but i worked it out, by putting the first Bench stairs in position and expand it by three benches. If i delete the two bench stairs in between and make the T shape and repeat. It takes more time and more wood but in the end it works.
The bugs on the playstation are a little more problematic. Usually starting out using benches isn't bad, sometimes you just have to exit out of the build mode to get the benches to snap. I've found if you don't exit completely out of the build mode between placing crop plots it will bug out to where you can't snap the next crop plot without restarting the game.
