Oh my goodness, I feel like even 10 people couldn't finish my combo...
As soon as I walked into the restaurant, the lady owner kept worrying about whether I was hungry or thirsty, she was extremely caring. The owner's son also left me with a good impression, during the communication and shooting process, he made me feel like he was 100% cooperative. Let me start by talking about the personality of the manager, because I value this aspect a lot. Thank you for giving me the best experience.
The restaurant has a retro vibe, with all the tables being large, making it suitable for family gatherings. Moving on to the food, most of it is authentic Mazu cuisine. I think all the duck dishes are great. Although it is not marinated, because the duck meat is of such good quality, it is easier to taste the original flavor of the meat. It's hard to find any faults.
I think there is room for improvement in some areas. In terms of seasoning, although it's decent, I feel like it lacks a bit of the "unique flavor of this restaurant."
1. Spicy seafood hotpot - I think it tastes good and the portion is large, but there are too many bean sprouts. It would take several people to finish this pot, so I still think it's worth it.
2. Golden dumplings - Honestly, they taste good, but I'm not used to the thick sweet potato skin.
3. Pancake with fresh oyster omelette - This pancake feels a bit rough, the texture is a bit ordinary. I think it would be better with more aroma, and the fresh oyster omelette also lacks aroma. There is a lot of room for improvement in this dish.
4. Fish noodles - This dish is very distinctive, but I still feel like it lacks a flavor that would leave a deep impression when eating.
In conclusion, I think it offers value for money, the duck dishes are all delicious, but Mazu specialty dishes may need to add some flavors that Taiwanese people prefer. Thank you everyone for reading until the end, I spent a long time typing this, I was really serious about it! XD
