Jimin has been working with a vocal coach. He mentioned it in the VLive with Suga and RM, a couple of months ago. You can hear a difference in his tone, and how he is singing. He's also using vibrato in a different way than he usually does. It's wonderful to hear him growing as a vocalist.

This song is so beautiful, both jimins and Sungwoons voices are so beautiful together.
With it being being 80% in English was a happy surprise and the lyrics are just so beautiful aswell.
To me what they are both saying especially jimin is basically what he said to us before and this song made me cry so much as I'm not usually an emotional person but this song really just pulls at the heart strings also both their voices fit perfectly and jimin couldn't have chosen a better singer and friend to collab with for his first solo OST

Something I love about Korean music is that every drama has OSTs and they are always beautiful. Songs like this are such a nice change from kpop music. The sweet ballads of OSTs immerse me in the emotions the show. Probably why I’m so addicted to kdramas 😂

This song to me felt like a wedding song. Like Jimin was walking Army down the aisle, and let them go at the end. Much like, letting Army move on to a different kind of love, while he stays there, only loving Army and never moving on. Like, how fans are normal people and have the privilege of a normal life, while idols solely live for us. It's beautiful and sad. Just the impression I got... If I was planning my wedding, I would want this song to play at a special moment. Kind of feels like a wedding gift to Army as well. Please excuse the overthinking. Borahae

Love your reactions. Here's a Norwegian born performer that you might consider reacting to. She's a prodigy who began singing as an infant/toddler, preferring to sing classical jazz and the blues of all things. You can catch the essence of jazz in almost everything she's performed. Shortly after turning 9 y/o, this little barefooted girl arranged the music and lyrics and performed a masterpiece cover of the Screamin' Jay Hawkins' 1956 original, "I Put a Spell on You". Although this song has been performed time and time again, many think this studio performance got closest to the original artist's intent. To further confound the issue, it just doesn't seem rational that the sound, emotion, and wisdom is coming from little barefooted Angelina Jordan. You may not prefer critiquing child singers, but this child prodigy is like nothing we've seen before. If you like this one, check out the next 2 (descriptions below). Her rendition of Queen's 1975 hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody", she has made it into her own jazzy ballad. Queen tweeted her a congratulation for her rendition on her AGTC audition.

Angelina Jordan is a child prodigy who: began singing at 16 months old; shows a clear preference for jazz/blues (Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Etta James, Ben E. King, and Amy Winehouse), a talent which always work its way into every performance with her vibrato and riffs; she arranges all of her music; entered Norway's Got Talent at 7 y/o, and ended up winning; has performed around the world; her parents have kept their focus on her having a normal childhood so 90% of requests and offers have been turned down. The largest performance she has sung for was for over 40,000 people, while still a preteen in Norway.
Having won Norway’s Got Talent, she was invited to compete America's Got Talent "The Champions" in 2020, at 13 y/o. She auditioned with her own arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody", earning herm a pass straight to the finals. By 15, she has over 160 cover performances and 5 originals. She has signed with Republic Records at 14. Her parents have still tried to preserve a normal childhood as possible for her and her little sister. Omer Bhatti: “We were in shock when she started to sing…it was a discussion whether it was an impression of that kind of music (ref to Gloomy Sunday performance) or the real deal…and the next time we saw her, she owned the stage, when she rehearsed, she told the bassist what she wanted and had full control. And we were like…ok…you are a star…we have something special here…”.
Judge Lisa Tønne: “…I am so happy that there is a human like you on earth. For me, this is not human like talent, I can’t explain it. … I’ve never ever experienced such a talent in my life.… “Don’t think. Just sing”.

- The Barefoot Princess of Jazz Backstory -
Angelina is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz". She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio recording. The story is that when living in the Middle East, at age 6, she came across an orphaned girl about her age sitting in the street, earning money by weighing people on a bathroom scale. She noticed how really cold it was and that the little girl was not only barefooted, but had scars on her feet. So 6 year old Angelina took off her own shoes, shoes that she loved, and gave them to the girl. Angelina decided she wouldn't wear shoes in her performances to remind her of all the children in the world who had no parents, proper clothes, or shoes. She remembers that girl every time she takes off her shoes to perform.
Of the encounter, little 6 year old Angelina wrote in her diary: “The world is very strange. Right then and there I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” In 2015, at 9 years of age, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter (making her the youngest published author in Norway). The book and her attire Angelina wore for her AGTC audition (above) were designed by her grandmother, who was herself a child prodigy in poetry and art. She has performed in charities for children, helping to raise 21 million euros and millions of dollars.
The song is beautiful! Jimin's voice is so angelic as always. I have never heard of Sung-Woon before now but he has a nice voice. I get a JK vibe when I hear Sung-Woon, but JK's voice more silky-smooth.

In the context of the series episode, this is actually a very sad song. It's not about romantic love (the MV is misleading) but a mother's love and painful longing for her son. Both times it was played in the episode was when the mother had traumatic flashbacks. The abrubt ending of the song also corresponds with what is happening to the mother.
Both Jimin and Sungwoon did a phenomenal job conveying all of this in the OST.
