those were the days, when you think about tech now, we could have been at the forfront of like spotify or been some tech gurus or something making a fortune
Been listening to this song for year cus my dad and just seen lock stock and two smoking barrels for the first time I love that I have my dad's taste in music
Took me forever to find this bloody song! Now watch me completely forget what it was again lol! Funny how they were able to use the theme tune from Casuaty, and a sound bite from Lock, Stock and Two Smokng Barrels, and make them into an awesome track lol Ah, the 90's...can we please go back?
THIS TRACK WENT STRAIGHT TO UK NUMBER 1 IN MAY 2000 WITH NO AIRPLAY AT ALL.CAN'T BELIEVE THIS TRACK WAS ONCE AT THE HELM OF THE UK CHARTS.SEEMED SO UNCHART LIKE. AMAZING TRACK!!!!
Big ups for those lads at the other side of the north sea. Much respect for providing us with the finest breaks, beats etc etc...for many many years. I flew many times a year to the UK to get myself the most exclusive Jungle tunes back then..Ragga jungle was my favourite..you guys just keep experimenting..and we keep dancing..So tell me.. is it ur food, is it the rain??...wtf who cares... just keep doin ur stuff, much respect..from the Netherlands..
There was a question on Pointless on the first round today (Wednesday 11th September 2019) about artists deliberately misspelling words in their song titles and one of the questions was "Who sund Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty)?" This answer scored 7 points.
I’ve just come across this on tv late night drunk watching those outdated music channels. If anyone here cares to, what was it like being young and going out in 2000? Any comparisons to nowadays? This came out 2 years before I was born, would love to know what it was like back then.
we used to dance all night at freaky underground parties, back then.. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, the Hague, Eindhoven.. Mid 90's the awesome jungle parties.. later on the more commercial drum n bass.. We all still prefer the Old school ragga Jungle.. that was one of the best era's of music from the Brits.. No doubt. But the Brits are the best in making dance music, all started experimentaland underground, when it reaches mainstream, very often a new style will be created..awesome UK sounds rule..
Does he say “swing batter batter” as in the American baseball phrase? There is also a song called “swing batter batter swing” by Henry Bowers which uses a similar soundtrack. Interesting

Despite hitting the UK Number 1 spot, this song only had minor chart success in Ireland, peaking at Number 26. Not surprisingly, it didn't chart elsewhere in the world.
