I did not see this episode whenever it must have first aired on TV. It had to be several years ago. I know you have a new little dog. The home you had there looked quite inviting and peaceful. Wow, that Caboose was built in 1925. So much has happened between then and now in 2025. What a year 2024 was.

I shared this video on our Facebook sketchbook easel builders group. I've been asking others about unusual settings they paint in. I live in Florida as well and wouldn't feel comfortable necessarily painting while sitting in a creek but I applaud you for doing so. It was not only a tranquil setting but inspired a beautifully rendered painting. Big hugs from Oviedo!

So nice to see you in action. Still love our Florida lighthouses!

Still cracks me up that you just went right into the water with everything. Did your easel survive? Brings new meaning to "water media."

Quite beautiful, that painting. I love the addition of the otter. Wonderfully done.

Loved seeing you in your backyard. I've got a prairie preserve/wetlands that I've been painting this year. I hope to do some waterways myself. HOwever I'm not going to sit in the water as you have. 😆

Thank you for showing off your caboose it was wonderful to see. Getting right into the water must have been fun and gave you a different angle from which to paint. Glad to see you on You Tube. I always tried to make time on the TV slot when they had your show on ...then it didn't show up as much so I was quite pleased to see you on the TH-cam.

That was a great place I use to have right by the creek. I loved it but we've moved on and downsized. I now live in St. Augustine.

Wow, well, I'm thankful you were able to paint in that creek while you lived there. What a fabulous memory you shared with us all. Hugs from Oviedo. @@Bansemer

You know Roger I live right in this area and it’s funny , I have noticed I have painted a lot of paintings in some of the same places that you have painted paintings. But I do not know where alligator Creek is. I know you live in Saint Augustine now. But I would love to have some idea of where this creek is and maybe get a chance to paint it myself. Is your old studio still there?
