I’m in the process of packing for my first travel gig and this video popped up this morning. It definitely gave me peace of mind that I didn’t have to bring every piece of equipment I own. Less gear = less anxiety. I also have learned that I want that backpack 😅

I learned a hack wrap your camera equipment with your clothes then when you get to your destination take it all out and do the same on the way back
I use to but when TSA wants to inspect everything it’s a pain

awww man im a panic packed I will throw everything plus the kitchen sink, and the last trip I went on I took too much stuff and it sucked lugging it around worse it was stuff I never used. I'm traveling in 4 days for a shoot and trust me I learnt my lesson lol

This is the first time I've watched someone pack their bag for 12 minutes and I loved it. Also, Danny quick question, Have you ever been to India? If you havent then I think you should definitely consider coming here (once this covid nonsense passes of course) I think you will absolutely love this.

The average person has zero idea what it takes to travel with gear. I spent 3 years working and traveling with professional fighters, they travel light and fly by the seat of their pants...pretty much my worst nightmare haha! I dig the bag!

Pro tip: Do put the batteries in both cases. This guarantees you to NOT have to check it. Did several gigs in CONUS, and travels in EU.
A person with too many batteries to make it a hassle always supersedes any rando :)

This bed tip works for every travel bag. And that's a great tip. I always do it that way before traveling too.
But I still prefer using my bed to sleep, or watching videos. 😏

How well does the compagnon bag suspend weight from the hipbelt? It looks like the belt and back panel are kind of floppy/flexible so not sure if it would lift weight off shoulders vs just keep things secure to your midsection. What’s your experience?
