I just went on this ride at Orlando today with the in-laws. Scared the living daylights outta me. I have absolutely no stomach for any kind of roller coaster thrill ride. I don't think I looked at the screen for more than the first five seconds, and that part near the end where Megatron shoots fire at the screen (there was a big vertical drop that may or not be real). Remember Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element? Yeah, that was me. But I totally respect the people who created this ride, and can appreciate the modern technology that brought this to life. The motion simulation technology is quite impressive.
I feel sorry for you. To me it was just a fun immersive ride. Like star tours and other things. I didn’t realize it was a thrill ride, so I didn’t know it was able to scare people. :|

The people who made this ride probably will never read this but I just went yesterday and when I tell you this is the greatest ride at universal it is!!! I’ve never even watched transformers and when I tell you it was so mind blowing. This was my first ride and I should’ve never did that because everything after felt mediocre. The greatest ride ever 💯

I love this ride! I've always been a huge fan of Universal Studios, and their way of putting you right in the middle of the action. But there's one slight problem, a nitpick, really. We're supposed to be soldiers, not hapless civilians like in the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. So, why don't we get weapons? It'd really help the immersion if we were helping shoot up the Decepticons alongside Evac, not to mention it could be a competition between guest for the highest score.
after seeing pacific rim, this doesn't seem as cool as it should to me. I love giant robots and I think transformers 4 wont be nearly as good as the pacific rim movie. what would be really fitting for a ride about robots where the ride seats are cars would be a megas xlr ride

@Rj854Studios In Orlando we already have Spiderman, and from what I've read/seen, Transformers is just a glorified version. They can't just give Spidey a makeover because it's in with the theme of Marvel Superhero Island, and they're trying to increase tourism up in Hollywood (and thus WWHP Hollywood is born.) because a lot of us overseas flock to Orlando more often.
"Generations for years to come" should be Universal Studios motto,like how out dated is Barney ( I watched it as a kid I am now 25) & Marvel Island needs a update,but this ride was epic & Evac is a pretty cool.
One thing I don't understand is why Hugo Weaving doesn't voice Megatron in the ride. I mean don't get me wrong, it's nice to see Frank Welker doing the voice again (in fact I heard he was originally chosen to do the voice in the movies). I guess it makes as much sense as what Disneyland did with the Indiana Jones ride and not have Harrison Ford do Indy's voice.
Well I think that realistic giant fighting robots are more impressive than comic book characters but well of course they want to market this ride as a totally new state-of-the-art never before seen thing, because that's what interests people.
Well technically the Transformers are comic book characters since they have their own comics. And the autobots are technically superheroes since they're in disguise in their vehicle modes.
i've been on it twice but seeing this makes my heart pound with joy that its going to make so many people happy that there getting as close to real life as they can besides the people outside in the suits it sounds kind of sappy but if you could see me i'd look even sappier
