Michkavie is Damso's brother (didn't know he was making music as well, he's not "famous") I'd genuinely love to know what the guy in the back listen to or what he likes! I personally like the 1st beat in "Chrome" and then dislike the rest of the song cause I'm tired of drill music. "laisse-moi tranquille" (and others included from the album) to me still is a great song, I actually get why people or his old fan base wouldn't like the album but to me calling "laisse-moi tranquille" junk or lazy is a bit of a stretch or kinda dishonest, even more when we see what some mainstream rappers release nowadays, USA included. (same lyrics every time, same beat, no risks taken, same sounds, etc...) Feel like this project is basically him dropping songs he's not keeping for the album he announced last year or just trying stuff, making stuff he wont do in the next album (like getting his brother on a track even tho he's not as good as him) A bit chaotic, some really great ideas, melody, sounds but also also some really weird or bad (in my opinion) ideas or adlibs. I didn't hate everything about a song, there is always something I like (in Damsautiste I like the lyrics and the drums, don't like the rest). Basically I've been listening to him since 'batterie faible' and I got tons of other rappers to listen to so I don't mind him parting ways with the rap he used to make. But yeah people who loved him for Ipseité and wanted him to keep this way are and will be disappointed Nice video tho, I'd watch more reacts to french music!
