    I am getting stronger in the gym and I have ordered my first sleeves to prevent injuries and keeping my lifts stable as I load on more weight.

      karan Divase idk what you mean by “hand power” but elbow sleeves allow you to bench more weights

    I would separate PR’s with sleeves on and sleeves off. Using sleeves as a tool is definitely good for overload work. Don’t let them become a crutch if your training for powerlifting. When you bench in competition you won’t be able to use sleeves so make sure your ligaments and joints are use to the heavy weight also with un sleeved work.

    Trey try gabbing the bar a little wider I think it will benefit you. Don't know how tall you are, I'm 6-1 and put my middle finger on the rings anything narrower I feel like the travel is way to longer and I use more triceps

    Do you find they rip up the inside of your elbows a bit? I bought an XL (approx 16.5in biceps) and I usually get pretty bad rips.

    Do you believe that these can add weight onto your bench? I just bought a pair for almost 60 dollars and I just want to get what my money's worth, so safety while adding weight is what i want out of these. So please get back to me?

      @TreyTgTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jamesy TheReDevil get them, you won't regret it...they are extremely tight at first, but as you keep wearing them they're fine. If you want more of a comfortable fit go 1 size up / but they're designed to fit tight. I can get them on by myself now, I wasn't able to at first.

    Never stretch before a workout. Stretching before a workout weakens your muscles. Only stretch after your workout and just before bedtime because your tendons shrink while you're asleep which is what causes tightness in the morning. Just warm up before a workout but never stretch before.

    355 pr....??? you're using sleeves and you bounce the bar big time. Do it raw, no bounce. Watch some competition vids buddy....... 355 pr... 😆😆😆

      djtwist8081 so, I guess you can bench over 9000 lbs ?

    • @Answeriz42
      @Answeriz42 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do realise he did this close grip right? Ive benched 360 neutral I doubt I can barely do 335 CG. Also in my experience you get like 5-10lbs absolute max out of sleeves so a 355 bench is still impressive nonetheless.
