Honestly I think cracking elite torsos that way increased damaging the bottom half and makes it impossible to reuse. Ive done it to 3 different torsos and all have resulted in them being totaled. If you want to crack elite torsos, do it the traditional way and crack the top and bottom. Cracking the bottom first only works for ultimates

Even though I do the bottom way, I agree. Even though I find the top first way harder, I'll have to do it for some Edge torso swaps.

Yeah I’d recommend heating before cracking. Look at the spacing once you put it back together 🙌🏽

You need to heat the figure in hot water to do a proper torso crack. Mania figs does a better job at showjng.
