I'm just a former high school player... but it kills me when the Cards are running to score. They always look for a reason to not slide. Slide, guys. It just ensures that you touch the plate instead of slowing down to step on a plate that can be slick when you're wearing spikes.
What do you mean? Scoring less than 4 runs? We did that. Had pockets of very good pitching, had that. It's about putting together the good offense and pitching consistently and we couldn't do it. One of the worst years I've seen for run support

Not sad at all…I wish they were all empty, then MAYBE DeWitt would have to do something about putting a team together that could actually compete for a Championship. As far as I am concerned, if DeWitt doesn’t want to do what is necessary to build a winner, then let him move the team somewhere else. I’d rather have no team than what we have seen in 2023 and 2024.

@@Johnzen03 I get it - but I'm a lifelong Cards fan marooned in Cubland. I go to Wrigley at least once a year and I have to say that Chicago area is okay. I try to get down to StL but its only maybe once every couple years - we try to come and stay for a weekend series. I wish I was closer - there'd be one or two less empty seats.
