This song played on the radio as I was coming home from work one morning. My divorce had just been finalized and I wasn't in a great place in my head. This song was the soundtrack to my life for a while. I'll never forget it.
😢Me too my ex got addicted to gambling I lost my home, went bankrupt but nothing hurts like lost true love I guess on my part. Still hurts so deeply 💔.
I met Tracii back in 93 when he was promoting Killing Machine. I've got a tattoo of their first album graphics on my arm, I showed it to the security guy and asked if Tracii would sign my arm? Two minutes later I'm sitting next to him drinking a cold ass beer. The coolest guy I've ever met.
When the one you've built your life around walks away. You're left with nothing but memories, both good and bitter. Now they're someone you used to know. Now total strangers
Man I hated Highschool, but there was this girl I hung out with during lunch and I really looked forward to seeing her every day that's why I went. We would leave school and just drive around in my car and come back when the break was done.We hung out for a couple of months before senior year ended, at some point, I told her I liked her, but she didn't feel the same way because she was moving back to California. She didn't even attend graduation and I never saw her again, and this song really captured every feeling that I had with her.
@@giantleprechaun2350 I found her reconnected for a while through Instagram, Shes single and moved back to our old home town, The ironic part is I no longer live there and I'm getting married in a couple of months, I realized there are just things that's not meant to be ya know
They were saying 'it's over now' to a time, style of music, an existence that truly died around late 1990... But we still have cd's/YT vids to explore and live it as if it were still 1980-1989...>
As grunge lay waiting on the other side of the door - and the black crowes just hit with 'shake your money maker' the guns here, tesla, cinderella, and great white dipped into their stones/allman brothers/ band bag of blues, folk, and country to deliver some of their best songs
I saw Rip&Tear on some talk show. (too many decades ago lol) Ran out and bought Hollywood Vampires. The 1st cut on that album, I'ts Over Now-entro made me wanting to get my $$ back. Glad I kept listening haha. Such an underrated band
I heard this song for the second time in my car just now. Heard it way back when some where. Never knew who it was. Well, I started tearing up. Talk about driving and crying. Its been over 30 years and I still have dreams about her. True love comes but once. So take the risk or you will end up alone.
When I listen to LA Guns I think about my cousin Chris who was murdered in February.. he loved this band... Phil has one of the best voices from this era
Hard to believe I saw them back in 1991 in Mexico and the police army was overlooking the concert. LA Guns was considered hardcore haha. Beautiful music though
You have to wonder if the young generation of today will one day look back on the auto-tune, mumble-rap infused music they listen to with such nostalgia as you seen in the comments section of 80's music. My guess is a big fat NO!
when i found out my ex was cheating on me i left a note on the remote control with instructions with a second note saying basicly saying that was a nice song and now think what you have done enjoy your new.......but yeah man 80s metal fucking rules
This song makes me think of all my failed relationships all of which were my fault. I should have held on to one. If I did atleast I'd have someone to argue with. Now I get to die alone.

I would have driven that car off a bridge
I dont wish that upon my worst enemy
So hard. This song brings up lots of emotions. ❤

@@islachristie3291I’m sorry about that
Phil Lewis's voice is amazing.
He still sounds incredible! they got new albums out ! Sound incredible!!
@@jenniferbassfirstchannel Very true, I can't help but think Phil Lewis is underrated as a vocalist.
Yes! Great voice. The Yang sign of GNR. But great in their way. A great time to be a teenager. That rock genre right there.
It's too bad there's no bands like this to speak to the young males of 2023.
Very underrated band.Great song!
I can’t explain it but this song soothes my soul. Love my 80’s/early 90’s rock.
Same here, such a hook and time traveller.
This song has always put my mind in a better place. Shame they don't make music today that can do that. The 80s and early 90s were amazing
great song, i miss these days when rock was on al the time
One of my truly first deep loves ended shortly before this song came out and to this day---this song brings it back like it happened yesterday.

This is the best version of L.A. Guns
Nah man, they're best with riley
@@axlscum um, you do know that's Steve Riley playing the drums, right?
Best song from Hollywood Vampires 1991, what a memories¡¡¡
I like Over the Edge just as much :-)
Kiss my love good bye
Absolute best lineup!! Phil, Tracii, Mick, Kelly and Steve!!! 🤘🤘🤘

A song about true love at your fingertips……then it slips away into the abyss!
Follow your heart…before it’s too late
This song is a breath of fresh air.
One of my favorite songs. Emotional very beautiful song. They all look so incredibly handsome in this video especially Phil Lewis! WOW 🤩!!!!
I actually prefer this to The Ballad Of Jayne
I remember MTV playing this, I was in high school at the time. Great song
I agree. Not that there’s anything wrong with The Ballad of Jayne, this is a more mature song. Love the slide guitar and basically all the lead work.
I love this song
Love this song one of my old favs
Always Loved this song! It touches Me everytime l hear it!
I have always liked those bass lines since first hearing it on the Alpine way back in 1991.
This song was popular when several doors in my life closed while simultaneously several opened

You should try looking her up.
I feel the same way about a lot of girls I knew in high school that I was too shy to pursue. Always wonder what could of been. I feel ya man.
I hope to hear an update on her soon

Great times. I'd give anything to go back to these days. Music sucks these days. Everything g is so fake with no heart in it
Don't we all? It's the good Ole days in my opinion.. rock on man! 🤘🏻
To this day it still sounds awesome.
Was never all that into LA Guns for some reason but I bought Hollywood Vampires on cassette from Goodwill early 2000s and absolutely loved it!
Most beautiful song ever

I have a rule about what I listen to when I drive. As much as I might love a song, if I know it's going to make me cry, I change the station!
This song brings back so many memories. I cry every time now….
I believe this song crossed over to Top 40 and Adult Contemporary radio. It’s the gem for sure.
Tracii and Phil. Like mick and Keith and jimmy and Robert. It’s just is what it is. Magic.

How can there be less than 1000 likes ?
I had this song on my playlist for years after i tried to rekindle my relationship with a girl after cooling off the relationship for 2 years.
This song reminds me of tha breakup of a secret relationship that should never have happened in the first place.
Cheating? Lol
Fine ballad by them.
Great song but it makes me sad both at the same time.
An 80's favourite in my space
