The iPhone alarm through the clock goes off even when the phone is on silent, which is an important feature. Is there a way to let the reminder sound override that too?

Search sounds & haptics in settings.
U can turn off all the sounds like silent mode even tho u’re not on silent mode.

Without the ability to override silent mode and do not disturb I find this feature almost worthless.

Thanks so much. I kept setting reminders and could never hear them! But PHONE CAN'T BE ON SILENT! Needs to be on ring mode for this to work.

Have you tried turning off the silent mode on your phone? The button on the top left the iPhone. Above the volume up button
