Thank you for this. How do you give weight to the phases? I did an exploratory sequential design with 15 interviews that identified some factors to create an experiment and then two experiments (experiment 1=192, experiment 2= 280).

If you did exploratory sequential then definitely you did quali first and then moved to the quanti section. Therefore, you explored the factors first and then tested it later..
The weight depends on which method you are more focused to determine the results in your study.

i designed one questionnaire with 24 closed ended items and 2 open-ended questions and send this questionnaire to 173 participants. i received 113 replies on my open-ended questions and i used thematic analysis and quantification to finalize those themes. i was doing mixed method research. now i am confused i done correct or wrong in my research

I will initially use Mediation Analysis as my quantitative method and integrate in-depth interviews to make it a mixed method. Is there a requirement for integrating mediation analysis with in-depth interviews? Does it automatically make it a mixed method?

If we intend to research quantitatively, but at the same time we also conduct an open interview. Then from valid quantitative, our interview data conducted for valid variable explanations and there are several point of interview explanations outside of valid variables but still one theme. Should i also add that several point or not ? Is it mixed method?and what kind of mixed method is this?

If you are using interviews to develop questionnaire and validating the quali and quanti research then it will lead you to sequential exploratory mixed method design. However in case where you are gathering quali and quanti data concurrently and validating it, then it will lead you to concurrent mixed method design. Regarding explanation outside the variables depends on the scope of your study.

Sir, Any research paper/thesis based on qualitative research wherein qualitative part is achieved by analysis of interviews supported by literature review and then followed by questionnaire (quantitative)

Can you please clarify first whether you want to develop a research instrument/ questionnaire based on the qualitative results or do you want adapt or adopt questionnaire and analyze both methodologies separately and then move to the triangulation?

@@narennaren8790 if previous studies have not developed questionnaire and you have developed questionnaire then this will enhance your study. Plus it will be a contribution of your study.
Moreover, the similar results in the themes also validate your study and you can use the previous studies to enhance your discussion.
