  • 📍STENNIS: Mickey is a Data and Control Systems Engineer at Relativity Space in Stennis, Mississippi. As a graduate of Louisiana State University's engineering program, Mickey began his career in the oil and gas industry. He decided to make the switch to Relativity because he wanted to try something new in an industry that would allow him to pave his own way, and contribute to redefining the future of space.

      Covid requirements. Some jobs needed their techs/engineers onsite (working remote was not possible). and to comply they had to wear a mask.
      I worked at a fiber manufacturing facility where we had to wear masks. The good thing is the company kept us informed, and as soon as regs allowed, some of couldn't take off the masks fast enough. We worked in a hot, humid environment where safety glasses fogged up often.
