daisy jones and the six is the best show on this list- well worth watching- the acting, the clothes, the music...and riley keough- spectacular!!!
I would place Jack Ryan above about half of the ones you listed. Glad you included The English and ranked it very high; it would have been my #2. I completely agree with your ranking of Reacher as #1. And, if you consider that FreeVee is a Prime channel, I would rank Bosch Legacy as #3.
Reacher was such a fun, action at its bests. The devil’s hour is very intriguing, I was not sure they would come up with a second season. I just watched 1 episode of peripheral and it was disappointing. English Lady seems interesting, haven’t heard about it.
The English is Great! One of my all time favortie Westerns, and certainly a different take on the traditional Western.
FROM. If you haven’t heard of FROM or watched that show, it’s a damn great mystery show in the vein of a Steven King like mystery show with a sci-fi twist. It’s an EPIX TV show, but Amazon seems to carry the show when the season is complete. Season 2 is actually about to start in a few days.
From is way underrated, i have enjoyed every episode, but im hoping its not going to go down the "lost" path of never ending blah blah lol.
Season 1 is ok. Season 2 is a convoluted mess.

In a sense you’re right. What happens is that many of the shows shop either their script or pilot around. It used to be either HBO, Cinemax or Showtime to pick them all up. Now… you have sooo many streaming services with enough money to bid for them. So shows that used to be picked up by premium cable channels are now being picked up by streaming services!

Carnival Row was excellent😊
It was definitely a choice to add. The only thing that stopped it in our top 10 was, we were only doing series within the first seasons and second confirmed. Carnival Row was unfortunately cancelled. I think we may do a series on shows that shouldn’t have been cancelled soon. Carnival Row will be somewhere in the list for sure! Great Pick!
Would have put Peripheral at #1 but haven’t watched Reacher yet but now I will.

Night Sky is different from anything else out there and worth a view. Several have already mentioned Carnival Row, also different from anything else out there.

don't necessarily agree with all on the list - but solid choices overall. Missing for me would be Good Omens, and The Legend of Vox Machina. (I actually liked the lord of the rings prequel - OK so it wasn't up to JRRT's writing but it was entertaining and that is all I ask of any show I watch tbh, and it does demonstrate the one immutable fact about the internet : haters gonna hate!!) :))

Night fliers, Another life, Altered carbon are also great, thriller Sci-fi shows
Reacher is great, no questions there. But both Terminal List and especially Invincible are superior to pretty much everything on this list. Especially Peripheral was a disappoitment, lots of promise but no cake.
It's an interesting list still.
(edit) oh yeah Carnival Row. The abrupt ending hurts it, was still a decent ride. But as stated in the start this for fresh series' and Carnival Row had it's 2nd and last season.
Carnival Row was def one to add. As you mentioned… the cancellation hurt! 😕

Invincible def should've been in the ranking imo - kinda sucks there were no animated series in the list
SWARM was really enjoyable. First episode had me drawn in and left my mouth on the floor!
I would not say Prime is catching up to Netflix at all though. Quality is decent enough but releases are way too slow. Hard to keep an interest

The only one I don't agree with is Lord of the Rings. Wanted to love but it just wasn't very good.

Thank you for your time and posting. Agree, Carnival Row was excellent. I actually didn't like the Reacher series, thought he was to robotic on being a killing machine. I thought Tom Cruise did a much better job at keeping human, like the books.
No Cruise absolutely did not
NO, I prefer the TV series to the movie,Alan makes a BETTER Reacher than Cruise
I agree about the Reacher series. His character was very dull and not at all captivating. Only returned to it when I had nothing else to watch.
You didn't mention "The Boys" I rate better than any of these VERY GOOD series you've mentioned.
This video is about NEW SERIES within their 1st season or just started their second which is pointed out at the beginning of the video. If we do a video about ALL SERIES on Prime Shows, “The Boys” very well May be included. 😬

@@justaguy6100 Invincible is still within its 1st season which is why it makes the list. The 2nd season is due out this fall I believe. The exciting part is that after the 2nd season, we won’t have to wait as long for the 3rd per reports. 😊

Lord of the Rings was total cringe garbage. The Consultant just didn’t do it for me. I enjoyed Outer Range a lot but Josh Brolin was the heartbeat of that series. Reacher was excellent; so was The Terminal List. Just one more random thought; Amazon Prime really screwed up with Zero, Zero, Zero; one of the most underrated series I’ve seen in quite some time.
LOL loved all your choices but LOTR - mate... NO!!!! All your picks had strengths and entertainment but LOTRs was excruciating... I reckon all of your picks will be back again... and they will torture us with LOTR again bc the budgets are already committed rather than the quality i.e., your other picks.
The rings of power was awful. Nothing about the actors, for me it was just not even remotely like Tolkien. It had no heart.

Terminal List: deeply unoriginal revenge porn with a Marty Sam character propelled into action using the super tired and unimaginative trope of killing the guy's wife and child. I watched the entire show because I love action movies, but really doesn't deserve even an honorable mention. I tried to read the books because action movies and action thriller books are my thing. John Wick, Bourn Identity, Jack Reacher, Jack Ryan, Orphan X, Gray Man, bring 'em! But the books were so horribly written, I'm honestly not sure how they were ever published.
Fan of Mark Greaney and Tom Clancy I see! 👀😊
@@Mediagumbo HUGE fan. Without Remorse (the book) is probably my all time favorite action thriller, followed closely by Gregg Hurwitz's Orphan X series and Greaney's Gray Man. So I watched the Terminal List and decided I had to read the books, but holy hell just no. Carr definitely has his fans, I'm just not one of them.
And, btw, John Wick 4 rocked. The fight choreography and the top down fight shots like a third person action shooter were 😘
