Great episode. Not going to lie, it's somewhat entertaining to see some of these athletes that have no doubt been coddled and told they're the greatest from a very young age learn the same life lessons that less fortunate children learn at a much younger age.
Dominating at a private high school where there is no boundary or bringing talent to a SWAC school and dominating the conference is quite different than dominating at the Power 5 level. Not saying he won't have success, but it may not be immediate.
Coach prime has ALWAYS said the truth and that he would continue to say it even if it hurts. I bet ya that truth is hurting media and parents more than those players.

Facts! I’m sure Coach Prime had a pretty good idea of what players he wanted to get rid of before he accepted the job and this was communicated in his interview for the job.
He cut 70 at JSU. He's behind on the cuts. Folks want their loser, everybody-gets-trophy kid on a winning team while their kid sits on the bench at 5th string. They want the big dogs up front to do all the hard play while their kid just sits back and wears a uniform. If folks are upset at how they're being spoken to then they need to go elsewhere. We got spoken to worse than this and I was just in the band. If you couldn't cut it, you didn't play.
He did not get $20mil....they told him they didn't have that kinda of money to give him but it would be much more than what he left.....That's why they gave him freedom to do all and anything that he wanted to do cause they didn't have that kind of money to give him

The transfer portal “cuts” both ways. Although some players will be paid, most will not. The flip side is college football is now like the NFL (not for long). A harsh lesson for these athletes but will now be the new business model going forward.
Once upon a time there was a military draft. I wonder how these "tough football players" would react to a Drill Sargent? If they can't take crap from a college coach, how tough are they?
For every other College team in the power 5 & there coaches do things similar as Deion, but behind close doors. The difference is Deion is showing coaching at Power 5. He will win, he's a good coach & man. For those crying. I have seen this program at it's highest. Every coach before him, that came here all did the same thing. Retain the kids & some coaches. What did that do, nothing. Colorado was once 22 or 23rd all-time in wins. Since 2008, CU has fallen to 30th. I knew Deion was different, from day one. It's a new era in Colorado football, no one has done this big because it takes balls, & it's not a program like USC that had talent when Lincoln Riley took over. That's different from CU who was 1-11.
Since when is it big news that new management often times wants to bring in their own workers? Happens in businesses every day. New owner, reevaluates the current company and workers, decides to replace some, most, or all of the staff with his own personal taste. Doesn't always mean they were bad workers. It's just the way things go. Sometimes I think social media has let too many whiners get an audience. This isn't even a serious issue, yet some people are upset about it. lol
