- Single digit passes in the 1/4mi have always been the elusive benchmark for a legitimately fast vehicle, but take those same standards and apply them to the truck world....that's just MOVIN!!
All these trucks put down single digit passes throughout the day during the NHRDA Diesel Nationals World Finals at the Texas Motorplex.

Not up on the diesel engines but why do some smoke like a bitch while doing a burnout and then dont smoke at sll during the run? Others don't smoke while doing the burnout but smoke during the run.....what gives, some are tuned better or they use something different like parts or Turbo's, Superchargers, what do they use as a power adder? Lostsa questions, who can handle answering.

It was only that truck making that sound....something unique to it. I just assumed something with the turbo discharge...

Its less pollution than Gas even tho it looks like alot more.
Lots of super poisonous and noxious gasses are completely invisible. Soot is carbon, it falls out of the sky in a couple minutes. Diesel engines are very efficient. Super sooty exhaust emissions are a sign that there isn't enough air being crammed into the cylinders. Look up "Banks Pikes Peak" and see his setup.
