If there's a way to cheese, cheat, or break the game, he cannot help himself, he has to take it, even against a fucking computer. He gets so frustrated and anthropomorphizes CPU opponents so thoroughly, that he genuinely feels mocked by them when losing.

Rewind sounds okay for training so you can figure out stuff for yourself during practice without having to redo the whole course again up to that point. For actual races though, it feels like cheating.
