This movie was a revelation. Flawless acting by Colin Firth and beautiful cinematography. Can't wait to watch Tom Ford's new feature, Nocturnal Animals.
I have no interest whatsoever in Tom Ford's fashion work, but I think this is one of the most beautifully directed films of recent years. The use of varied colour palettes perfectly brings out the substance of both the story and Firth's performance. It is especially remarkable coming from a first-time director, and any critical sneering (*cough* Peter Bradshaw) on the basis of Ford's background is deeply unfounded.

Superb performanes from Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. Pefectly capturing the feelings of bereavement and loss.
You just want to comfort him but you can't....takes talent to convey the characters feelings to that extent
