Jon a fantastic player. Lovely to see and hear Alec also a fine player. I remember seeing Jon win the International clarinet competition at Denver when he played Weber's Concertino and won the competition. I know that Karl Leister was judge. Later I met up with Jon and Tod Levy both pupils of David Weber in Paris. We were trying Vandoren mouthpieces ! I was interested in what John said about location, humidity etc. I think that since Vandoren has sealed their reeds in humidity packs they are much better and consistent than the old days when we bought boxes of 20 reeds! I think that Jon is in the lineage of the great school of American clarinet playing. He has also remained with the BuffetR13clarinet now in its new creation the Tosca with the much improved low F . thank you Jon. and Alec. Bill. UK
I go from sea level to high altitude regularly. I choose a harder read so I can adjust them myself. I normally like around a three and a half but I always purchase fours and work on them. I can generally use every v21 read in the box.
saxefoner it’s a great design. I would love to see one with the same inner design but more open tip opening and longer facing and maybe one with a small tip opening too.

Alec hasn't personality
Tosca is sweet but lacks character
Alec had no chance to speak or be a part of the conversation, demonstration for some reason,,,🤔
