Either he was completely joking or hes genuinely angry (which I understand hes a City fan) but United is known for their home kits especially in the 90s and early 2000s, he didnt even mention the umbro sharp home kit with old trafford in the background, what a shame.
As a 41yr old it's nice to see some of these old kits and I still have that LFC top from 93. Excellent choice Ciarán 👍🏻 the 1988-1992 Candy kit was also brilliant too #YNWA
Sheff United fan here. The 1992-1994 home kit is an absolute banger. Laver was a great sponsor, laced collar, stripes are beautiful with the little pin stripes in between. Classic.
I was ready to disagree with most of these. Here's how I would rate each kit: Arsenal: 6/10. It's not bad. The pattern is pretty good, but the sleeves are not that great. Aston Villa: 8/10. I'm not usually a big fan of plain kits, but this one is pretty nice. The sponsor works well with it too. Man Utd: 5/10. It's a bit too simple, but I guess it kinda works? Chelsea: 2/10. Disgusting. Whatever pattern that's supposed to be is too wacky. They've gone for a design on one sleeve as well, which is so dumb. I don't like this kit at all. Red absolutely does not belong on a Chelsea kit. Burnley: 7/10. It's alright. I think this fits for Burnley. Crystal Palace: 8/10. I have really liked a lot of Crystal Palace's recent kits, but I think this one is pretty good too, arguably the best one so far. The stripes are pretty solid. Nott'm Forest: 6/10. I mean, it is more creative than their kit this season, but it's not a standout to me. I'm not a fan of polo collars on kits, but I think this one's ok. Man City: 6/10. I hated the maroon collar and cuffs at first, but I think this kit overall is growing on me. It's definitely going to be a memorable one considering they won a treble in this kit. Sheffield Utd: 8/10. I think the only thing that brings this kit down is the sponsor. Everything else looks nice. Bournemouth: 9/10. I might actually agree with you on this one. The stripes are near-perfect. It might be up there as one of the best. Brentford: 8/10. I'd say this is pretty similar to Sheffield Utd. It's not the most innovative, but it's a solid design. Brighton: 6/10. It's alright. I don't really like that the sponsor slices through some of the stripes, but it makes sense. I wonder why the Nike is red, though. Everton: 7/10. It's solid. The pattern, while subtle, is pretty intriguing. Probably not the best one I've seen in this video, though. Fulham: 4/10. Nah, this one's a stinker. The horizontal stripes are kinda weird, and I don't like that sponsor and its serif text, in particular. Liverpool: 8/10. I do agree that Carlsberg is an iconic sponsor. That design shouldn't work, but it does. Luton Town: 5/10. Eh, it's ok. It's a bit simple, and it's nowhere near the best, in my opinion. Newcastle: 7/10. I like it, but it looks like something an NFL referee would wear. I like the central badge, but I don't really like the sponsor. Tottenham: 7/10. The sleeve pinstripe is probably the worst part of this kit. Everything else is pretty nice. I like the collar, cuffs, and sponsor especially. West Ham: 6/10. The only thing I really like is the collar. Everything else is a bit simple, but it fits for West Ham. Wolves: 7/10: The checkerboard pattern is nice, and I like the sponsor. It's pretty good overall.
I never agree with Ciaran on his other opinions (like food), but what he was saying about badges and colours and sponsors and designs I found myself agreeing with next to everything. I would have some different selections for certain clubs best ever kit (08 United comes to mind), but overall I was on the same wavelength
That United kit you picked is an absolute shitshow (the 23/24 kit inspired by it is beautiful though)! The shirt from 98/99 is 10x better! I do agree though that our more recent kits have been better, the 22/23 kit being my favourite kit ever, for any club!
Petition to change the TH-cam ‘About’ to ‘that’s how this channel works, you do the best you do the worst, you move into something else then you look at football food’
The best kit for me? Man United 2008. Absolutely amazing. Then Arsenal 2009 (beautiful). Madrid 2003 (incredible) Barca 2015 (pure class) Inter 2010 (memorable) and the list goes on and on. Kits nowadays SUCKS. They look like children's clothing. And they're more expensive than ever.
The man city shirt is so close to perfection, but the red trim around the collar is uneven and it bothers me so much. Honestly think the kit with the Brother sponsor would be a better shout, but I'm a man utd fan so I wouldn't know.
You do know kits were worn before 1990. Forest late 70s adidas kit Brighton 1983 kit liverpool 86 and 89 man utd 1986 any arsenal kit in the 80s spurs hummel 86 kit west ham 1980 adidas. Aston vile kit from 83. You did get Luton one and maybe the dingles ( wolves) one right . This seasons man City the best you are a comedian 😂😂
Yea, that Villa kit is a simple, classic looking kit. Not dyssy looking, ir wuth any elements thsy don't quite work. It's so simple, yet so well designed. Didn't they do this for a short while in the 90's? ....and weren't their kits, stripes back when the club first started? But now they've gone and changed their club badge - and made abit of a hash of it. It looks way too similar to the Chelsea badge. Why are football clubs so bad at making good decisions when it comes to having a new club badge? Is it really so hard to get it right??!
90s Man Utd stuff is class! Recent ones haven’t been anywhere as good

Got the away shirt 🙌🏽🙌🏽 so nice
It’s always a good day when Ciaran posts just in time for lunch
Especially when you don't watch it until 10:30 and you're eating cereal
@@RyanG0sling01 cereal is the best kind of lunch
Not having Man U's sharp from 92 or 99 is criminal
Can we make it illegal for Ciaran to have an opinion on anything, especially football kits and food😂😂
Wolves recent kits have been pretty good, the big W sponsor fits incredibly well and overall it is a clean look

You need to design a kit for every premier club from scratch
Man United's best kit was the 92/93 in my opinion.
1998/99 is personally my favourite one and our best ever kit
I wish Chelsea ALWAYS had red in their kit. It’s on the badge, it’s in our history. Bring it back!
Not to mention the fact your old nickname "the pensioners" comes from the army veterans in Chelsea that wore red coats
Best away and 3rd kits are needed too
I never agree with Ciaran on his other opinions (like food), but what he was saying about badges and colours and sponsors and designs I found myself agreeing with next to everything. I would have some different selections for certain clubs best ever kit (08 United comes to mind), but overall I was on the same wavelength
Would be nice to see this with lower leagues As well
Love the vids ciarán
Your Man Utd pick is abysmal. the 90's kits are iconic - second to none...
everytime i see a Ciarán Carlin FC thumbnail and video title im like 'yes this is exactly the thing I want to watch' in any situation and mood

Watching these before work with my morning cuppa is the best way to start a Monday.
It's after 1pm where do you work? Lol
@@AdamOBrien29different time zones exist, Adam
@@AdamOBrien29 night shifts at a supermarket, not that complicated.
Can you do one of these for the Championship too?
Ciaran probably used to be a Chelsea fan before he realised city would win more trophies
I’m a west ham fan, but if you need a sheff utd solution, look no further than the Ward’s kit from 97-98 and 98-99. Class.
Saw you in the pub the other day! I wasn't sure if you'd be comfortable with someone coming up and saying hello? Anyways, great video as always!
You are kinda funny. Good work with that Golum character and King Kong too 😅
Imagine being a single ,Mormon crystal palace fan in 89/90 you get a banging shirt to wear that flexes to your Mormon mates that your a fly Virgin.
Im a luton fan, you picked the best one. Nice work
Good vid concept.
Should try doing best ever 2nd and then a vid on best third kits
Guy is a clown for saying United never had a good kit… are dozens of them, especially white away ones
As a Sheffield United fan my fav shirt is the errea 22/23 home kit of the 22/23 promotion shirt
The Brentford kits from the 80s/90s with KLM as the sponsor were all lovely kits.
Although the home kits were mostly pretty basic
Another entertaining ccfc video
Petition to change the TH-cam ‘About’ to ‘that’s how this channel works, you do the best you do the worst, you move into something else then you look at football food’
I can only assume you've missed the Sheffield United 1993 shirt, a beaut 👌
Please do this with championship teams
If the 22/23 city kit had white sponsor lettering it would be a 10 but that black does let it down and the 98 kit is the best imo
The Brown Ale era of Newcastle united kits are elite.
Palace 1996 kit is by far the best palace kit
United 06-07 was pretty fire
Sheffield united fan here 1990 season away kit is our best kit
seen some great nuhmmmbahs mate thanks
I think the Chelsea centenary top is our best
Fp ciaran, but cocked up with Fulham, pizza hut sponsor no question
The hairs looking good today
Sorry I missed this Ciaran, I was eating my lunch
Sheffield United have had much much nicer kits, look at last seasons for one. But also, the 90's Umbro Laver....
This is the right answer
Wow no chance, the old united kits all slap bro
Man UTD 08 was disrespected
Can you do the worst home kits then the same for the away kits
As a wolves fan I agree the orange should be more orange not yellow that castore did last season, however the best wolves home kit is the 1991-93 one.
Special mention to the 2002-2004 kit with that Doritos sponsor
@reillyt0677 true that one is iconic
For once I approve of the palace choice my carling well done you sir
You made a good choice, but I would have gone for the adidas spurs one!
Ham & Cheese toastie with the GOAT, hope you've been listening to Suburbia all morning
Jesus of Suburbia is a tune
incorrect kit from bournemouth. but correct call on our ullage gradient.

How could you not pick the “Skint” kit for Brighton?
There's only one team Cieran hates more than Man United and that's Wolverhampton Wonderers 😂
The man city shirt is so close to perfection, but the red trim around the collar is uneven and it bothers me so much. Honestly think the kit with the Brother sponsor would be a better shout, but I'm a man utd fan so I wouldn't know.
pls make another video about the best football club logo's
What’s your problem with Wolves
That Burnley kit is vile
why is burnley even on here lol
Ciaran if you ever make a CCFC football club ill play for it 🤣
I'd say next seasons Bournemouth is their best, absolute beaut
as a sufc fan, i can confidently say you chose the worst kit we've possibly ever had lol
Even the year before was better. Not sure what he’s on about with that god awful 20-21 kit.
"you look like Ireland" dont forget your roots big daddy

Not feel like doing all the teams
You need to do away kits
We need more of the other English leagues
24:15 Villa fan here: yes you are right we all hate Wolves

Villa 2018-19 ROBBED
Every other team in efl please xo
I disagree with you about the Arsenal kit 😡, Names!
The 22/23 city shirt is wank, shocking a city fan would pick a modern shirt lol
Looks like a west ham away kit doesn't it.
cant believe any of the diadora kits didn't make it for villa or the Luke kit, castore is pony
Wtf is that sheff United take we’ve had some incredible kits in the past just proof that you couldn’t be arsed to research
United Aig ones were good
2000-02 United home shirt is one of their worst.
He doesn’t like Luton 😨
Awful choice for Brentford there boss. 93 home kit with the KLM sponsor 😍
#COYR
because i can
u have honking taste mate
bahahahaha i take it all back you chose man u's umbro kit 💀😭😭
mr carlin
mr 4232
still say Brentford 2000/2002 kit is there best ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This past city kit is horrid. The central badge and the taping are gross.

There are so many better Brighton ones
Good ass vid
It's pronounced "neighkey"
I DO NOT AGREE WITH YOUR ARSENAL DESCISION AS TOTTENHAM ARE BETTER
The only one I totally disagree with is city that shit is ass

No taste.
