During the following 9 years under Harper the feds didn't reinstate large-scale federal funding for new social housing. This lack of social housing made a void to be filled by for-profit-based housing. Which only the already wealthy could attain. After 31 years of this for-profit housing, almost every single person in Parliament has one or more properties that they rent out. Now we're stuck in a situation where all Politicians will block any attempt at social housing, because it would bring down the value of their current assets. This includes Pierre Poilievre and his cabinet. I agree that it sucks, but I promise you, no matter who the next PM is, it will never ever change.

I find it strange when someone blames PM's for things that we're enacted before their time.
When Justin Trudeau was in his 20's, the liberal government under Chrétien ended all new funding for social housing construction as part of broader austerity measures and so, responsibility for housing was devolved to provinces and territories, signaling a major retreat from federal involvement in social housing. During the following 9 years under Harper the feds didn't reinstate large-scale federal funding for new social housing. This lack of social housing made a void to be filled by for-profit-based housing.
Which only the already wealthy could attain.
After 31 years of this for-profit housing, almost every single person in Parliament has one or more properties that they rent out.
Now we're stuck in a situation where all Politicians will block any attempt at social housing, because it would bring down the value of their current assets.
This includes Pierre Poilievre and his cabinet.

And another video simply stating all the bogus & suspiciously money-laundering schemes this government has donated billions to, using our money (and the money we don’t actually have!). Right from the Government of Canada website, 18 pages of ridiculous woke “charities and programs”. IE: $600 MILLION to the Clinton Foundation, $10M / $6M / $22M to various global woke organizations whose descriptions will make your blood boil. And yet, no money for our vets, military, seniors, border security, healthcare.
There absolutely needs to be a DEEP FORENSIC AUDIT on every nickel spent and “invested” by this government, starting from Day 1, 2015. Trudeau’s personal wealth grew by $230M+ in just 2 years (2020-2022) and the Trudeau Foundation also grew exponentially (Did the Clinton Foundation give back a “donation in kind” after our tax dollars started the grift?)
And he needs to be charged with fraud, embezzlement and treason. And our money returned.

Pretty bad if the PM-in-waiting would post something like this. It tells you what many have been saying - he is not prime ministerial material. The current government needs to go, but obviously we can expect partisanship, antagonism, and thumbing-of-the-nose from the next one. Someone like Mulroney is sorely needed by our country.
