I hope the battling aspect of this game isn't neglected, I of course love the collecting system but It'd take more than opening packs for 1min a day to get me spending on this lmao.

Yeah collecting digital cards is pretty pointless if you can't do anything with them. I am only interested in this for the battling since it makes it easier and I've never played the tcg before, despite having collected cards in the 90s.
@@F0XD1E the way i see the cards is as some new type of NFT. i assume people who collect are going to try and get all the interactive cards and somehow put them into digital frames in their home, office or collection room. i may be wrong but thats the direction i think the collecting aspect of this game is heading
@@Conquest_HD if you can't sell them for money then they have no value. If you want a cool digital poster then you could just download that. You don't need to open tons of packs to get it.

Those deck challenges, sound a lot like the challenges in the game boy game of Pokemon TCG 2, where the club masters would refuse to fight you unless you fulfil their conditions. For example. In The Water Club, the master will not fight you, unless you have 4 Magikarp in your deck!

If I move to New Zealand for a month then move back to the US afterwards, will I still be able to play my account or will this be separated by servers or will there be some sort of wipe for full launch? I dont wanna waste a trip to NZ if I wont be able to bring my progress back a month later, basically.

Spending $144 allows you to open the same number of booster packs that you would normally get from the regular two-pack-per-day routine over two months, but in just a few minutes. That's quite the boost!

Do we know if accounts will be reset if you move and then move back for global launch or if you keep everything
Accounts are usually region locked.
I have used a region workaround for early access to Clash games (mini, quest) and Squad busters. Once you download the game, you can change your region back to your home country, and it will work just fine. Unless there's an update during the soft launch. Then you need to revert to the soft lunch region. I kept all my progress on Squadbusters when it went global, so no reset for early players. Hope that helps, and have a good day 🙂

I'll be extremely impressed if spragels really moves in New Zealand and do a vlog for us. I probably won't bother with the soft launch, but I'm excited for the CPU battles.
I do wonder if they should make it 4 points to win... as it stands, ex pokemon probably still has a huge advantage. 3 non-ex pokemon aren't gonna be equal to 2 ex pokemon. (Neither would 4 be, but.)

Usually, most Soft Launch Games that i have tried always save the progress. But who knows, there is possibility the progress will be reset too.

They won't automatically break down duplicates beyond what you can put in a deck because they're going to have trading available in a matter of months but you can choose to break down any card for stuff that lets you glam out your other cards

Nz player here. So far game is actually really fun and spending $19.99 nzd on a monthly pass gives you so many extra credits and missions which allow you to open a butt load of packs. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and invest all in 1 pack type. There are 3 to start, that being pikachu, charizard and mewtwo themed packs. They all have different pulls. Spend some in one then switch to another. Was pretty easy to get dupes fast. But the pull rates of the top cards are almost 0 so it will keep you busy for a while. Battles are fun and quick. Easy to understand. Premium currency is around $9.99 for 25 gold bricks with 1 free and spending 6 bricks will get you 1 pack.
