good to see a build close to what i want for my own HC necro, and also finally a necro that use a offhand shield blocking an attack have saved my necro many times.
i made a certain style build, but i used the legendary 2 handed sythe that maks ur dmg chill, its gr8 itgs like perma freezing. also the barrier legs, use a 2 handed scythe and it buffs it as its heals wqhen u kill a minion. have you tried ring of mandela also yet with this?
Thanks for all the comments! I’ve made some changes to the build, but I’m trying to hit 100 and fine tune a few things. Work is keeping me busy though, I should have a final build video/thoughts about the game and necromancer in a week or so
@@nPoZeR hi dude, im runninng just the +2 skeleton warriors in boots, and i dont run mages. moved the blight stuff to necklance and ring, and i got a ring of mendela which is gr8 on this build as u get luck from youre gloves and that ring, and it procs decent nuff about 90-160k hits, defo makes up for lack of stats for youre shadow dmg but worth it for some aoe dmg too
Great video, very informative. I kinda stopped playing this build and my Necro in general around 78, still didn't find a Mendeln, but I'm playing SC and I can run Army instead of Blood Mist. Watching this video I feel like I have to hunt for completely new gear because mine has no +life on it, no move speed, my glyph boards are wrong, just thinking about all the work I gotta do to fix it makes me not want to log on lol. Necro is kind of a frustrating mess to me right now and I'm not having fun playing it unfortunately.
Thanks for the reply. I agree, it's very difficult to respec/reinvest in a character in late game. You need roughly 10-15 million gold for paragon board wipes/skill changes/gear adjustments, as well as a clear idea of what you want to do. I've been wanting to try a blood necro, I might just roll a new necro to do so. We'll see.
I'm running a build similar to yours. My work around for Barrier gen goes as follows. Instead of Golem I'm running Bonestorm with the Afix to create a barrier. With all the Decrepify cooldown reduction you can have Bonestorm and Barrier up full time during big fights and be super tanky.
Hey man thanks for this guide. Was running something similar but going to copy this now haha. If you were on soft core, would you use an ultimate move instead of blood mist?
@Sanavixx niceee yup thats exactly what I use. It's not blood mist but def helps get u out if sticky situations sometimes. Thanks again dude Def glad I found a chill channel
i also might add that when you blow up 5 corpses u get 40% flat dmg, i think it might be better than the 5% chance to do 50% more dmg which only counts for 1 tick bro
It felt great levelling, just invest in shadowblight and let it carry you to endgame. My other video goes into detail about skill progression and paragon upgrades
It's effective enough, you could run Umbral on your ring instead of frenzied dead (which I did for a while) and that does keep you consistently full on essence, since we CC mobs all the time.
@@SaNaViXX how would you rate CT vs Golem Slam for your use case? I assume you don't want to wait for a corpse, but I do find the pull radius to be much larger than the Blight pull aspect
I’m doing something similar but I’m not using corpse explosion at all, I maxed out decrepify and stacked lucky hit chance. With the bone golem taunt, the back hole legendary mod for blight and constantly procing the decrepify cooldown reduction I have permanent uptime for taunt. Also the ring of meneld for kind of bonkers minion damage.
how come you are using 1 handers? as far as i know minions dont get any attackspeed increases based on your weapon so a 2 handed scyth will do almost 2x damage for minions. i know you lose some lucky hit but is it really worth it without the unique ring to spam lucky hit procs ? also does the attack speed aspect even work? personally i cant notice the attackspeed increase :!
Using a 1-hander because for HC I want a shield for the extra life/block/damage reduction affixes and running an additional aspect. On softcore I'd probably use a 2-hander.
No ring drop :( I'm taking some time off, waiting to hear the Season 1 news and if there are going to be any further changes to Necro. Got burnt out on nightmare dungeons, hoping for more endgame content with the Season
@@SaNaViXX Sure you soon get it, I just get it today, seems the droprate got increase and now helltides, can give you uniques, so give it a try. GL, i think drop is good, i have been looking for the ring and black river and still River won’t drop. But today after update ring dropped in the first chest after legion event not even helltide, and first run in Marines dungeon was a Bloodless. So fingers crossed. In the other hand, what are your plans after get it? I dropped one shadowblight, and I’m flying haha.

Yeah, I discussed it in my first build video, but using a 1-hand with a shield that provides block/life/extra damage reduction seems the play for HC

btw i just got black river and with youre build on HC its sick! defo a slight dps loss but ur initial build up dmg is way faster tbh

Thanks

Bone Storm looks like a lot of fun as a Darkness skill via the aspect, especially with the damage reduction it provides.

Are you purely using CE as essence gen? Kind of thought that wouldn't be enough for spamming Blight
