I am not entirely happy about Pixar’s heavy sequel direction but I’m glad at least they made a great movie again!

I’ve always thought that Inside Out 2 had a similar story to Toy Story 2. It started with a series of duds as films (or one dud of a film), as well as tension between Disney and Pixar. And for both films they pushed their technology and story to its limit. If Pixar wanted to prove they could still survive and be here to stay again like with Toy Story 2, then they succeeded beyond belief.
