No one could speak like Menachem Begin. That's why in Knesset he was never interrupted by the opposition. The respect that the whole country had for him was immense! It was based on his personal sacrifice in leading the underground organization Etzel and fighting the brits. He contributed so much to the birth of Israel and was the main contributor to the peace treaty with Egypt. The Israel's enemies were really afraid of him...unlike today! I'm so proud of voting for him in 1977 and what a joy it was when he won and became the Israeli PM!
