Watched Alan Staggs film, and it was brilliant. This is also a great film too. Those Crucians 😮. Marsh Farm is somewhere I want to fish. Being in Shropshire, it would have to be a couple of days though as the drive there is quite far. Keep these films coming. Good to see the Gardner Specimen films showing. Just need to get Dai on too 👌🏻💪🏻🎣
Is there a Perch fishing video in the pipeline . Catching perch with bait seems a rare thing on TH-cam these days . Also it would be great to watch now it’s coming in to Autumn . Lovely stuff
Hi mate. There's a irrigation lake I put some crucians in 18 years ago. I'm hoping to fish for them this weekend. Should I fish mid water or on the bottom. It's a deep lake. Cheers pal
Hi @Governor, glad you liked the video. The rods I use, are an old set of 1.25lb Grauvell Specialists, sadly they don't make them anymore, but any Avon style rod of around that test curve would be ideal for them.

@lyddonmike thanks for the reply. I need to buy a pair of 1.25lb rods, but it's finding the right ones. I don't know whether to get 11ft 12ft, I've looked at quite a few rods in 7 different shops, HARRISON TORRIX SPECIALIST stands out.
11ft or 12ft would be fine, I have used both with equal success. The Harrisons are a lovely rod, so if they are within your budget, I would go for them 👍🏻
The video is very good, bro, there are many big fish on your side, but my side, the fish are not big, they have already put all the electricity, where do they fish anymore? 😂
Crucian carp and Mike 😱 my life is complete ! Great little video 👏

Thanks very much for your comment. We would definitely recommend fishing on the bottom.
@@TargetSpecimen ok I'll give it a go this weekend. I'm using corn or bread flake.
Hi what sort of rods do you use ?

Why do today's anglers have the rod rests so low down?
