Obi Wan was a good master, but he needed a father; not a brother and they failed him

Well having a brother isn’t bad, that’s still good for Ani. But like you said, he really needed a father more than anything and no one filled that role besides Palpatine unfortunately.

The main difference is that Obi-Wan tried to teach Anakin the Jedi way in the overall sense. Obi-Wan trained Anakin with a “one size fits all” approach, whereas Qui-Gon would have trained Anakin with a more “tailor made for Anakin” approach to the force and Jedi way

It’s just sad that Anakin lived such a miserable life as a slave on Tatooine and from a certain POV: the slave of the Jedi. Then, he ends up being a slave to Palpatine, using his title as the Dark Lord of the Sith to cope with it. Jesus…

He was a slave all his life.

Damn. For two trilogies, Anakin really was a slave his whole life. They should have titled this timeline…
STAR WARS ANAKIN: SLAVE OF THE GALAXY
The only three people who freed anakin was Luke, Death, & the Cosmic Force

Anakin has the right to question the system of the Jedi order. As for those two Jedi who tease him, they had it coming.

I initially misheard "vergence in the Force" as "virgins in the Force" and my mind went to strange places....

I wonder what would've happened had Anakin been given a choice to join the Jedi or not?

Does anyone know what comics or graphic novels that are in this video or that gives us the stories of Anakin's childhood?

Palpatine offered him a job that one time.
He should have just taken it.
At he didnt need to be screwed by the Jedi that much.
Sure Palpatine will screw him. But at least Palpatine would allow Anakin to be more flexible with his choices.
If anything it would further Palpatine's plans since Anakin would allow himself to use the darkside more

I think Anakin should’ve been train’s in2 taboboo if I said it rite. Think bout it. Both pod race & train 2b as Jedi @ same time. Than after am half time. Than after being head start’d, Obi wan train enough 2 be Jedi knight. Quickly 2 be Jedi master. 2x a work pays off.

Anakin refused to listen to his superiors. He refused to learn his lessons and his arrogance was his downfall. ObiWan tried to teach him, but by the time he was in his late teens, he was on the path to the dark side. ObiWan is not to blame for Anakin turning out the way he did, Anakin was to blame.

Darth Sidious says hi he played a huge role. While many of the Jedi Council feared and disliked him. Palpatine embraced him and built a strong relationship with the young Anakin.

Anakin was ultimately responsible but you can't deny the jedi council and Palpatine both played roles.

@@Vietmac1993 oh absolutely. But Anakin knew right from wrong. He was a weak willed individual who chose to do wrong. I do not sympathize with any of the bad choices he made. Padme dying or not, it does not excuse what he did. He simply would not listen to ObiWan or the council and in the end, he paid the price.
