    I agree with you, brother. The connection of Mark 3:27 with Luke 11:21-22 and the Day of the Lord in Revelation 20 is really enlightening.
    The Lord cannot effectively plunder and divide the world of Satan unless he first ties up this strong ruler who WAS controlling and deceiving the whole world. This binding is very important because the throne of the Lord cannot be established in righteousness and justice if the wicked is still in his presence. See Proverbs 25:5. The people of the earth will have an excuse and thus a fair judgment is not possible if Satan is still at large. That is why the Saints cannot judge yet the people outside the holy body during the first century AD. They waited for the bright thousand year-reign of the Lord for his day will illuminate everything.
    Now, as for the weapons he wielded for so long: the religious powers and political powers, these two weapons will be divided or separated with each other during the bright thousand year-reign of God's Christ who are the Saints headed by the Lord Jesus and thus weakens the kingdom of evil. The Lord can now plunder and divide the evil house and rescue his possessions and re-consecrate them by his fiery word of truth.
    But who can understand his coming? Only the people who fear and trust God for they will be like trees planted by the living river and will endure the great summer which is a thousand fiery-judgment. This fiery day will burn all the world and thus God's people will be purified and tested like silver and gold.

      As regarding to the trading of the saints:
      Bondservants and Masters
      5 Bondservants,[a] obey your earthly masters[b] with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, 6 not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free
      Ephesians 6:5-9, ESV

      I see Jt says 5-9 but where is 9 I wonder?
      “Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬-‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    It's such a powerful, comforting message to see how precious we are in the sight of God, while realizing that in and of ourselves we are nothing before Him and deserve nothing but His wrath. Why are we precious to Him? Thanks be to God through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ! And it's still a mystery. While we were still sinners, He died for us! Still sinners He declares us righteous, as we believe in Christ, and continue to put our hope in Him Who perfects us on the last day! Praise God. In the meantime, the Lord bind our sinful nature that we might live for Him, in loving our neighbor, as we may, by the grace of His Spirit, having been regenerated and Him promising to work through His Word in sanctifying with the same.

    The Book of Luke is clearly written for the Bride which is why the strong man is fully armed. We believe and are saved. Mark is written for the sleeping church and Matthew is written for the Jews. It is a wonderful study to look at the differences in this way. Ever notice Jesus is wearing three different colored robes in the three books? There are reasons.

    This is the scripture that inspires charismatics to "bind" and "loose" things. Comment? Chris Rosebraugh has possibly addressed this.

  • @oldglory6922
    @oldglory6922 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I did not hear much of anything about the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, which is when the “heavy lifting” of the strong man binding and plundering occurred. Any present or future binding and plundering flows from the finished work of Christ.

    Could 3:27 be taken as a Christian who opened the door to temptations he couldn't handle, and is now bound by those temptations/sins, until Jesus releases the bound person?

    This Little Babe
    This little babe so few days old
    Is come to rifle Satan's fold;
    All hell doth at his presence quake
    Though he himself for cold do shake;
    For in this week unarmed wise
    The gates of hell he will surprise
    With tears he fights and wins the field
    His naked breast stands for a shield
    His battering shot are babish cries
    His arrows looks of weeping eyes
    His martial ensigns Cold and Need
    And feeble flesh his warrior's steed
    His camp is pitched in a stall
    His bulwark but a broken wall;
    The crib his trench, haystalks his stakes
    Of shepherds he his muster makes
    And thus as sure his foe to wound
    The angels' trumps a larum sound
    My soul with Christ
    Join thou in fight;
    Stick to the tents
    That he hath pight
    Within his crib
    Is surest ward;
    This little Babe
    Will by thy guard
    If thou wilt foil thy
    Foes with joy, then
    Flit not from this
    Heavenly boy!

    Divide and Conquer
    About 2,600 years ago, in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign as king of Babylon, this pagan king has a dream. He saw in his dream a huge statue made of pure gold at its head, silver at its chest and arms, bronze at its belly and thighs, and iron at its legs. But at its feet, it was made of two different elements mixed together and yet they cannot reman united. They are partly iron and partly clay, partly strong and partly brittle, a divided kingdom/ world leadership.
    Prophet Daniel was led to give the interpretation from God himself. The clay represents the seeds or children of men so it is the representation of people or the power of people themselves. The iron, bronze, silver, and gold, therefore, represent non-human powers. They are the kingdoms of spirits who acted over humans that ruled the earth solidly in the past. The whole statue then represents the whole world. In the past, human governments don't rule by themselves. They were always under the influence or authority of the so-called gods or spirits of the world. But during the end times of their world, it is now under the leadership of two different and separate dominions. One of them is the rule, might, power, or kingdom of humans, and the other is the seed of the previous iron kingdom of gods or spirits.
    During the days of these kings or leaders, the God of heaven will set up the rock kingdom which will never end. It will destroy and annihilate all these other kingdoms. It will will not be passed on to other. It will become a huge mountain and will fill the whole earth.
    . . . . . . Read Daniel 2 . . . . . .
    "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, all his possessions are safe. But when a stronger one comes and attacks him, he will take away the armor in which the strong man trusted and he will divide up the spoils."
    _Luke 11:21-22
