For the people asking about the 2nd knot: I've studied the video a ton and have even made two of the snowflakes myself. It took a while to understand what she was doing here but it's basically done the same way as a square knot, just with two strings instead of four. I hope this helps.
Hiya, not sure if you still need the answer, but it’s it’s a single half hitch, instead of a double, and it’s on alternating sides of the working cord so it gives a different look once it’s complete. Sorry I’m not great at explaining things 🤣😁
I know this video is an older one but I am making these ornaments love it! But the two extra cords left from the ring, what did you do with those? It never showed them after the ring was pulled tight.

Yes thank you very much, it really helped me.
I did more research but I'm still a beginner at macrame but I believe the second knot is called an alternating hitch knot.
The second knot after the square knots is a vertical larks head knot.
Please explain what you do with the two cord ends used to make the circle all the working cords are mounted on. Thank you!
I need this, too! I'm just a beginner.
Lotsa macrame memories in this video! So easy to knot and so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this fun project.
You are so welcome!

Muy bonito 💕
me alegro de que te guste 😘
So very beautiful.
Can someone explain to me how to do the knots after the square ones, the ones that use only 2 cords that look like a head lark... I'm so confused 😭

Muy lindo trabajo intentaré realizarlo

Beautiful and not so difficult.
It really is!
Can you please explain to me the 2 cord knots that look like head lark ones? Can't understand 🙏
Captions with the style knots used would be extremely helpful. Got done with square knots and got lost on 2 cord knots. Hands are in the way of video.
thanks for the suggestions
Very nice

It becomes the 16th pair of cords to work with.
But as mentioned below, snowflakes have 6 sides, so it should be 11 cords plus the ring makes 12

How do we do the next piece of the star and not have the strings on left leftover
Linda!

What do you use to pin down the project? Like what kind of pins and board that you pin into?
Natasha those would be called T pins, you can find them in a sewing area of craft stores....
@@ecale816 thank you!
Why cut 15 cords and only put on 14 ?? Video shows 14 cords.
One is to make the ring
👏👏🙋🏻♀️😀🇩🇴
Gut, aber nur 6. Six- sided!
🌺🌺🌺
What is the name of the knot after the square knot? Wo derful video btw!🧡
half hitch knot
Captions of knotswould be helpful
How big is the finished product
I don’t understand what to do with two cords ... hands are in front of camera and can’t follow even on slow motion ... not the best for beginners
It's an alternative half hitch, if you want to look it up elsewhere
