    Fantastic video again, this channel is brilliant. It's great looking at your American tractors, we only got them over here in the war years. After WW2 Britain was pretty much bankrupt so we didn't get many more American tractors, we had to start building our own again. We had our own Ferguson, David Brown, and Nuffield etc, but IH, Ford, A.C., and JD started building here and in Europe but a lot of those models were different to yours in the US. MM started building the UDS and UDM tractors over here after the war, they were based on a GTA, I think with a choice of either a Meadows or a Dorman diesel engine. The problem was they were too big for smaller UK farms and fields and with the invention of the Ferguson 3 point system, they couldn't compete on price so production ended. Allis Chalmers built tractors, combines and balers over here until the late 60's/early 70's. So it's great for me in England to see your older American tractors from the 50's, 60's, and 70's on your TH-cam channel. Thanks for making the videos. All the best. Peter. 🚜🇬🇧

    Dan you never show any G 706 Minnies , I assume they did not make very many of them? Dad bought one. On Saturday morning he got on the 4020 to go work ground. Hooked the g 706 to something else I had to run that long turning thing!

    Hi the combine collection is amazing. The farmer I worked as a kid had a moline combine and if I remember correctly the grain tank was down along the driver side of the machine it was mostly yellow white cab I think and had 6 cyl flat head gas eng. is my memory correct what model would it be cause I can’t seem to find any info about it

    • @molinedan
      @molinedan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The MM and Oliver’s had a 318 Chrysler gas motor mostly. Im not a combine expert but no means. 2890,3296 or 4296 is the closest guess I have for you.

    • @stevenkramer5162
      @stevenkramer5162 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe that would be a 2890 with Chrysler 231 industrial engine.

    • @MrFyn409
      @MrFyn409 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stevenkramer5162 2890 did have the Chrysler 6 cyl flat head, but the grain tank was on top of the machine behind the motor.
