Exciting. Amazing and wanderfull pianist perfect.
Back to Tatiana's Letter. Irresistible, and it really opens my voice. So I'm back with it. Wish I could find a teacher for the Russian pronunciation.
After a year, I have returned to Tatiana's Letter Scene. I listened to Anna Netrebko four times, I made notes on my score as to pronunciation - and I rely on Iryna's playing, on her expression, on her cues to me when my entrance is, and how long to hold the last triumphant notes. Thank you, Iryna!
Brava! What a nice accompanist!
❤
Thank you 🙏
Ay, gracias, gracias, gracias muchas!!!!! ♥♥♥
Thank you ,🤗🇬🇧
After singing Renee's very slow tempo, holding her long long emphases, and studying Russian pronunciation from an American brilliant soprano - I was ready to try to sing with piano at a normal Iryna tempo! What a journey! I actually kept up with you at times, I caught up to you when I was behind. Renee taught me a lot of basics of Russian. So glad to have had personal coaching from a great soprano! Coaching in video. Now to try again. I, too, hope it works out.
Hurray! You did great! I've been learning this by listening and listening to Renee Fleming. And to have the actual piano part is such a saving grace! A million thanks! And the Russian score will be coming so I may have to learn Cyrillic to sing this in Russian - I've been using English translation, not ideal.
