Knowing that this song was originally written for Britney Spears changes everything! Her team thought it was too aggressive for her but this song could’ve definitely worked as a duet between Britney and Christina
Her label got a lot of songs offered for the OOPS album, but they wanted something that would suit her. As Steve Lunt said, they needed songs that would carry her spirit, hence they rejected a lot of hits.
