The Smiler is basically best described as Manchester United specifically in the 23-24 season. Sometimes the squad play amazing and sometimes they bottle the match.
Great tips from hyper Stephen on how to get the best from your day regarding the times and what to ride first. Did Stephen have one too many energy drinks at the start of the day - he was running everywhere. A challenge that I used to do years ago was to ride every row on the Big Dipper at BPB, starting at the front and working towards the back row, all in one day. Only did once because the park was very quiet but the last 3 rides were done in the rain. I wouldn't do it again.
@yourexperienceguide Ha! Hope they took the hint. No need to have to convince the boys that they gave to go, cos that coaster is just so good!! The park is easy to get to too, another perk!
Craig's Man Utd analogy was spot on with the Smiler 😂 As a United fan myself, I also was a big fan of Palace on Sunday. Shame that Arsenal couldn't take advantage though, as they are the best option as winners out of a bad bunch! Great video, liked it a lot. Can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks time for the Nemesis VIP event
Great video! Why is it never that quiet when I go?!? I do feel from what you’ve been saying about the rides at AT that there’s been some directives about how to get increased throughput on the rides.
I remeber galactica being the hero's dream ride. Then air. I think the roller coasters Restaurant being the Cadbury dream shop. That must of been 20 years ago.
I think it just depends on how windy it is, when I went it was quite windy so it wasn’t open but was open next day so I’d say check the weather forecast and hope for the best
And as mentioned, they love to run the hard poly wheels, quicker but harsh if left in one spot for a while. Then the wheels love to continue to destroy themselves flat
Scott been watching you guys since 2022, that Palace dig was harsh. 😂 looking to go Alton in 2 weeks on a Tuesday what is the recommended order of coasters to avoid bigger lines thanks. #Sixtimes #YNWA needed some payback 😂
I do feel that it’s a shame you can’t film on the rides. Maybe that could be a topic for a future talk about video around why some parks allow it and the reasons some don’t. Surely it would be better to allow it safely than than the sneaky ways some people do it.
I've always been supprised at how smooth Wickerman is despite the solid steel wheels. The track is stunningly smooth
It’s an excellent modern woodie 😅
I agree! When I went on it I totally thought “how is this a wooden coaster?”

Absolutely spot on
Haha, great comment!! 😂
Really enjoyed this one scot. Backing music really added to the enjoyment.

Haha think Stephen was running on adrenaline from his recent trip to Disney Paris 😆
Great editing Scott the music was spot on looks like you had a great day all the bestt mate 👍 🎢👍
Loved this video guys. The shots of the parks and coasters were great. ❤
Your best thumbnail yet! 👌 Tough old challenge this.
Thank you 🙏
And this was on a Saturday too? Damn, good ops and good queue!
Sunday 😅
Great video, enjoyable as usual. Scott- love the GCE cap!! What a coaster!! 🎉🎉
Thank you 😊 Wore the cap to hint at Stephen & Craig about booking a trip ✈️

@@AudreyMealiff I’m definitely going back even if it’s on my own 😅

Thanks for the info on times and ride orders, it can make a difference between a bad day and a good one at Towers.
Hopefully it helps with your next visit 🤞🏼😎
Great vlog guys x ❤
Thank you!! 😊

Thank you, they've definitely upped their game in 2024
Looks like a fun day!
It was great 😁
craig makes me laugh when he makes funny smiles
Loved this one guys! My local park too, although I don't do Oblivion or Rita as I just don't enjoy them.
Thank you 🙏
I’m not a big fan of Rita.
Great vlog, Steven is so funny!! lol Challenge can you do all the rides at Drayton in one day?? Excluding Thomas Land???
I've always liked Crystal Palace too 🤣
Hi ,great to meet you at oblivion ! Unknown to us we were doing the exact same challenge !we did nine (spin ball and mine train )
Hope you had a great day 😄

Some great tips and advice from Speedy Stephen 😂
No faff Stephen 😂
Noticed the smiler has been down Monday & Tuesday (15/16th April). I’m going on the 19th. Think it will be up & running by then?

It may have been due to stormy conditions lately
@@yourexperienceguide that’s what I was thinking. I knew it was pretty windy on Monday. Fingers crossed for the 2nd half of the week 🤞
tbf, The Smiler is amazing! - the queue can be horrific though
It’s one of my least favourite coasters - Scott

Are you guys coming back to Sweden this year? 😄❤
We’ve been chatting about that today, hopefully 🤞🏼
No way I'm the first commenter! Keep up the good content guys!!!
Thank you 🙏

Haha sorry 😂 I’ll be honest I was hoping you’d win, same for Arsenal, keeps it interesting.
Copy the order we did in this and have a great day 😄
i was enjoying watching your video eating my texas bbq pringles

The sheep challenge where to follow the crowds and do it the worst way possible
wicker man roller coaster is my best wooden coaster in the UK
Galactica should stay but have a full ree theme and maybe new trains and maybe a new name or they should put it back to being called air
Mike riding a log flume all day long
Great vid. Shame about the crystal palace comment 👎🏻
To be fair I wasn't too complimentary about my own team!
@@yourexperienceguide good point 😂
Galactica has got to go...its surely coming to the end of its life and it's such a bland ride.
Wat big coaster @ Alton. They r all shit
Yawn. 🥱
