    I tried the stretch mom jeans from AE, for the first time in my normal size 6, I didn’t like them that much either, I tried them in a 4 and wow did that make a difference! So much more flattering! So I agree....they run large. The 4’s were comfy and just slightly loose. I ended up keeping those ones.

      Thanks for sharing that tip!! That's awesome that they worked for you! I'm going to pin this comment so others might see it.

    The AE Next Level High Waisted Jeggings do such a great job at elongating your legs! They're such a lovely fit on you.

    Great video. I have tried AE jeans so many times as I love the variety of washes and lengths that they offer but I always end up returning them. People love them but they are not for me. I don’t like the spandex feel of their jeans. I just purchased a pair of jeans from GAP and I absolutely love them.

      Thanks for sharing!! I love GAP jeans as well. They are my go to brand. I don't like spandex jeans whatsoever. Cotton jeans are my favorite. A&F now offer the "vintage denim" line that boasts 99% cotton jeans, which is the main reason why I bought some jeans from the company to try for this video. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Curve Love Skinny High Rise Jeans, and they are my new favorite jeans in my closet now. Hope you're having a wonderful day, and thank you so much for commenting!

      I should also mention too that I'm not a big fan of AE jeans. The TomBoy jeans were really nice because they are cotton jeans, but the others were just okay. I'd rather spend a little more money to get higher quality jeans.

    Love a good jean video!💗 You are so right about the side hem! It's not flattering and I will definitely be looking out for that on my next jean haul!

      Thank you for taking the time to comment! Means so much to me. And yes, the side hem is something that I just noticed this past year. Some are worse than others, but I do think it's a mark of good design when it is done properly.

    I just splurged on some AE jeans and I wish I would of seen this video ahead of time. I’m normally a 4 but the waist in all them were too big so I’m going to return them all and order a size two. Idk why they run so big, they never use to be this way

      I know, right? Unfortunately, I think clothing has changed with this pandemic. I hate that for you, though. There's nothing more frustrating than ordering your size with a company you've shopped at before and the jeans not fitting. I am hoping for the day when the dressing rooms open back up!

      @@JessicaAnnDavis tell me about it!! I went to the store yesterday because I wanted the jeans and all of the fits were really weird. I just ended up placing a new order online & sending my current order back online 😞

    The Abercrombie jeans are so great, the AE jeans always look cheap

      Alone, they're not so bad, but when you compare them side by side to the Abercrombie brand, you can really see the difference. I was a little bit taken aback by it. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

    3:43 of course they are going to be big, THEY ARE CURVY, and you are FAR from being curvy. Nothing bad on being straight BUT put some logic.

    • @JessicaAnnDavis
      @JessicaAnnDavis  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I think you misunderstood. The REGULAR jeans, in my size, were far too big. The curvy jeans were perfect. I understand that I'm not curvy, but I do have larger, athletic thighs compared to my waist. Most jeans are too big around the waist if they fit my thighs. MOST curvy lines fit my body shape better because they have more room in the hip and thighs. It says so on the website as well. It's kind of like how stores have the petite line for shorter gals. The whole idea of me showing curvy vs regular is to stop stereotyping with "labels and sizes". One size does not fit all because each brand styles their jeans in different ways. And because you probably didn't even watch my video, I KEPT the curvy jeans. WAAAY more comfortable and they fit BETTER. Thank you
