As a more casual player must say I’m really enjoying the leveling and bgs in this season with wild card. Sometimes crap build sometimes one shot capabilities but always fun trying to make what you have work.
Exactly my thoughs. I love leveling through BGs on ascension.

Currently, my build is SS, Heroic Strike, Eviserate, Slice and Dice. I got titan grip and a bunch of 2h talents so I one shot so many things with my SS HS combo.
I think they should increase the number of cards we can use. The season is wayyy too RNG dependent. Add at least 1 more regular and gold card slot so I can guarantee 6 more spells and my 4 starters.
Imo, draft is fine, the problem with seasonal realm currently in S9 is the scrolls... talent/ability scrolls... It's not balanced at all for people who don't want to spend 20hours/day farming Manastorm and other content don't give nearly enough scrolls. I'm a new player don't have a proper build yet and barely any cards let alone golden cards and I've spent 40min in manastorm just to get 7abulity reset scrolls and 11 talent reset scrolls. It's completely discouraging and retarded. That's why I gave up on ascension all together
i found what i like but its trash, well compared to the guys getting giga rolls with their rng
Been trying to find leveling builds. Every damn video I click on shows me what to do at level 60 and beyond. If you're at endgame and don't know what you're doing then something's wrong.
Its the other way round on Ascension, as leveling is very quick and You usually just set up everything for 60.

So I wanted to try this build with a twist. I am thinking same build mostly but run titans grip and titanic mutilate. Going to mix warrior abilities in with the rogue abilities. I got the card for 5/5 mental quickness last night and plan to prestige to use that in the build. My question is what stat would you (or anyone else that wants to answer) use? I am thinking agi as some of the abilities lean that way, but str might be better. Just wondering your thoughts. Thanks.
Grats on mental quickness. I still haven't got it. I would go for agi as well. Mut is rogue ability and global cd reductions help get 5 combo faster. It also means more crit which is always nice. GL Mate!

But bro you gotta realize that a lot of people doing the 20k DPS are people who have spent the last 2 months perfecting their builds. I have been building my own build throughout this season and I’m now doing 11k ST. I would feel sad if they nerfed my build so that it only did 30% more damage than your build
I understand what You mean, and totally agree. Mmorpgs are about progressing Your character that's true. The thing is that those gaps are too big. When tbc comes out the DPS will be like 200k and it's really bad...
@@venarioo I agree with you, they are probably getting too big for the game. I would have no problem squishing them a bit, however, it is the most rewarding feeling to finally roll those talents that give the power spike and it feels game quitting when the nerf rolls out a lot of the times. But you’re right, it is what it is:)
Yup, its very nice when You finally start pumping hehe. My max is 17k aoe and 5k ST so far. Its on this build that got some more upgrades. What are You paying with Bro?
@@venarioo I must say I got inspired by the build and made my own version which is doing almost 6k ST and 18 AoE. Main build is SMF execute warrior ish, and it’s doing like 25-30k AoE

I think some actual rng protection would be nice
Yeah like in draft system when You have a choice of 3 skills / talents and You dont get useless stuff like cat things, whilst not having the cat form itself. I think this would improve the situation a lot.
I think wildcard abilities with draft mode talents would help with the rng. I understand that the goal is truly classless wow and the rng makes it thats way but too much rng at once doesn't always work out in a fun way.
What they should do is buff bosses and mobs in dungeons/raids at max lvl.
Hey! Really cool to see that you took my suggestion and made a fusion of both our builds. A quick note on why I took frostbrand weapon instead of fel infused: First off thematic, but mainly because with chilling strikes you can reduce deep freeze CD by 2 seconds every time you use razzashi talon, and it massively increases the damage of winds of winter. I can imagine having both would be nice though, since you can swap in ST scenarios where fel infused will probably outperform frostbrand weapon.
Quick note on the mystic enchants: Definitely take hasty winds of winter as soon as you have some energy regen to keep spamming razzashi talon. reduced winds of winter CD to a little over 2 seconds. lunar guidance/ fierce mind for spell damage, vitality for energy regen if needed.

What do You mean that deep freeze icrease dmg of winds of winter? How?
Frostbrand outperforms fel weapon in ST as well, as I rolled the talent that increases all frost dmg by 6% when frostbrand is on target, and it has 100% uptime. The fully rolled talent give 9% so it gets even better. I think it was Frozen Power.

Its the opposite, Cone of Cold (in this case Winds of Winter) will increase Deep Freeze via a talents
@@venarioo Sorry for the weird phrasing. I meant it as two separate things. 1st it helps with deep freeze CD and secondly, with talents you can get upwards of 200 spellpower just from frostbrand + its own damage and synergies.

Also about fel infused, you're right especially since they nerfed it.

@@SylverGaming if you want to go deep freeze for more ST you take winds of winter, razzashi talon, frostbrand weapon and deep freeze. If you want to go more AoE but bit more lacking ST you do the same but instead of deep freeze you take icy prism.
If you go deep freeze, talents are: flash freeze, ice floes, honor among thieves, chilling blows, howl of winter and fingers of frost.
If you go icy prism, talents are: flash freeze, ice floes, honor among thieves, critical prism, spreading prism and the last one you can choose yourself (maybe shatter, or some passive damage talent).
I think they just went too far with the RNG. Biggest issuse is rolling capstones alot of the time the talent is worthless unless its max. They either need to activate the capstones for all ranks or remove the lower ranks of talents with capstones. Adding a Way to upgrade talents or adding weight to talents that you have that can rank up might work as well.
I guess there is a lot of methods to make it easier for us, but i guess we will have to wait untill another season.

Yeah the main thing bothering me on Ascension is that only a select few builds are viable to run because all the other cool build ideas do 3k dps ST max

What did you take for your initial 4 abilities at start. Either I missed it or you glossed over it.
Oh, thats true. I went with SS ( backstab is better for daggers, especially that it gets scrapped for muti ) seal of wisdom, charge and eviscerate, but that was mostly for PvP leveling. You could throw in some buffs instead of charge and eviscerate.
Have you ever thought of doing a Fan of Knives build?

Everything that buffs cone of cold to pump as much dmg from Winds of Winter. Also threw in some mutilate primals to get stat increase as You spam this skill all the time.

No idea Bro. Never had problems with it. Try to maybe clean cache and reinstall it.
Or You may have to tick "load out of date mods" in addons section on character selection screen.
Use the addon details. Its better imho anyway.
I wanted to make a build with the claws arlokks and thekals grasps. Is that possible? Or are they too weak to make the gimmik work?

@venarioo those are weapons. Fist weapons that have a chance to proc a cool thing that turns you into a giant tiger. You get them from ZG. I always wanted to make a build with them but in classic wow everyone just said "no you go sword rogue" so I was hoping nows my chance. But they just don't hit hard at all.

@@Scriffer ahhh ok i get it now. Sure IT works perfectly with any one handers. But for pvp i would go pure smf without elemental rends. Too much ramp up time with IT.
7:55 20k dps is not even op anymore, I saw a Solar Bomber guy do 35k ST on dummy which is double my dps. If Ascension release all these new stuffs on A52, I'm not gonna go back to Elune lol.
i dont think they will release it exactly like this on A52 ever. it just would be wayy to overtune and unbalance everything

Looks like a fun build! What are your starting abilities?
This time I started with Sinister Strike, Eviscerate, charge and seal of wisdom. Everything important for the build comes at level 20+ so starting abilites dont matter really. You can take whatever You want, just keep the seal of wisdom for mana regen. Take care Bro.
