Happy decade! I think I started consistently watching your channel around 2019, and I love how you demonstrate change and growth over time with your reading and thoughts. I think sometimes it is okay to rest on our laurels with something we have spent a lot of time on! I recommend trying to enjoy getting to a spot where you can coast a little, but that can be hard to do in 2024.
Just went down memory lane and I followed you on Dec 13, 2021. I only watched journaling videos but wanted to start a reading journal and found booktube. I got back into reading in 2020 as a way to occupy myself during lockdown. I pretty immediately found your videos and have never looked back! There are other booktubers I’ve watched off and on, but I have never stopped watching your videos. They always feel so creative and engaging, and the way you talk about books make me feel excited about reading. In fact, your videos have largely impacted my reading over these last 4 years. I want to say that at least 50% of the 250-ish books I’ve read in that time have been books I heard you talk about. I first discovered you in 2017 with the closet unhaul series. I remember rewatching the first few episodes over and over because I just loved the formatting. Crazy to think I was in high school when I first tuned in and now i’m a full blown adult. Thankful for every video I have ever watched. ❤

I think I found your channel in 2019 but I binge watched a lot of previous years stuff before catching up to that year's videos. Closet unhaul was my most favourite. I remember the Jeep video, the VSCO girl video etc. it's been so much fun. Watching for six years and will be watching forever!

I've been watching your videos for about two years. What became apparent to me from the very beginning is how hard you work on your channel. How much you care about your content. I love that you're willing to read outside your comfort zone by reading things that aren't usually favorite genres. How diverse your reading is, but most of all, how positive your channel is. You & Gavin Reads it All are my favorite Booktubers. You both go above and beyond with your ideas, creativity, and resourcefulness. Not only that, you're both so humble, kind, and sincere. Thank you for all that you do.

Happy decade! I think I started consistently watching your channel around 2019, and I love how you demonstrate change and growth over time with your reading and thoughts. I think sometimes it is okay to rest on our laurels with something we have spent a lot of time on! I recommend trying to enjoy getting to a spot where you can coast a little, but that can be hard to do in 2024.

I got back into reading in 2020 as a way to occupy myself during lockdown. I pretty immediately found your videos and have never looked back! There are other booktubers I’ve watched off and on, but I have never stopped watching your videos. They always feel so creative and engaging, and the way you talk about books make me feel excited about reading. In fact, your videos have largely impacted my reading over these last 4 years. I want to say that at least 50% of the 250-ish books I’ve read in that time have been books I heard you talk about. 2. you come up so many unique concepts and ideas that often turn into trends on booktube. what other sources besides booktube/youtube do you get your inspiration from? i’m sure a lot of your ideas come from just being a creative person but i’m curious to know if there are unexpected places you get inspiration from? (e.g. you’re on a hike and see an interesting tree and decide to do a vlog reading books with like sentient botany lol)
3. you’ve gotten to know your own reading taste pretty well over the years. are there any subjects/topics you have a hard line about not reading but if certain authors wrote it, you’d be willing to try it? if so, which authors?
4. out of all the books you’ve read since you’ve been on booktube, what 10 do you think have had the biggest impact or influence on you?
5. and lastly since i’ve been around here a long ass time (2014 baby!!), am i misremembering or did you go to a event one time and one time only? i have the vaguest memory of you going to one? 😭and you saying it was the first event type thing you were ever going to (and you never did again lol)? i feel like i remember you saying you were only going because it was kind of nearby and another reason i can’t remember lol. i also feel like maybe there was another canadian booktuber there but i can’t remember who. or am i just making this all up?
