I do believe Jesus removed the handwriting of requirements against and even told Peter to call nothing uncommon nor unclean he has blessed.

This sermon only cover part of this topic, and stays away from key parts of the New Covenant, which addresses this topic in several different places.
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
    --Rom. 14: 17
"And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. 16Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. 17These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ.… " --Colossians 2:15-17

PAUL REBUKED PETER FOR NOT LIVING UP TO THE GOSPEL regarding eating and fellowship!
Peter used to eat with the Gentiles, but then when the Jerusalem church leaders came to visit, he separated himself from the Gentiles and began following dietary laws again.
"But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood self-condemned; for until certain people came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But after they came, he drew back and kept himself separate for fear of the circumcision faction. And the other Jews joined him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. But when I saw that they were not acting consistently with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
      --Gal. 2:11-14
Paul's point here is that Peter at this time was living like a Gentile. Acts 10 (the vision of the sheet and unclean animals) was the beginning of God softening Peter's heart to the Gentiles and also to Grace vs Law. After a while, as he began to better understand the Gospel, Peter began not only to fellowship with Gentiles but also to eat with them.

@@sketchbook1 but where does the law say he can't eat with gentiles? Whete does the scripture younquoted say it was regarding what they were eating that he separated? Notice it said it was in fear if the circumcision faction (this isn't a faction simply arguing law observance but arguing that one side is superior and to mingle with peoples who weren't specicially Jewish was against their way) nothing in the law forbids table fellowship with gentiles.
You see this echoed in the acts vision. The passage says all sorts of creatures were in the sheet. Why did Peter specially say he couldn't have ANY of the animals offered? Why not just take the cow or the lamb that was in the sheet? Because just as the parishes argued that clean jewish people would be tainted if they fellowshipped with dirty gentiles they argued that clean animals became unclean when offered alongside with unclean animals. (Again not a torah issue) of the vision was simply about softening to grace vs law Why did Peter not examine that a few verses later when he said word for word what the vision meant and left out any mention of grace vs law.
Why do you assume grace and law must be at odds? Did God not grant both? Is God divided against himself? And didn't someone once say something about what happens if someone is divided against themselves?
Rather it's legalism vs faith (which I'd say is grace AND law in union) how can we have been given wonderful grace and not desire to obey the one who gave it? How can we love him and not take the ways of life he says will give us a more abundant life?

@@sketchbook1 you're correct tho Paul did rebuke Peter because Peter was allowing himself to be drawn into the group that made issues that the Torah doesn't mention. He wasn't living up to the gospel or the Torah (which thebgospel INCLUDES torah) its how those freed from slavery are instructed to live (living free must look different then when we lived as slaves otherwise why be free if your still stuck I'm the lies of slavery?)
