I got all three questions wrong but that's okay! I am so thankful for this video and the tricks it showed me! It also showed me my weaknesses. thank youuuuu
The second one got me. I didn't focus on the word 'greatest' hence considered the possibilities of every type of real numbers out there. Thanks Philip! for such amazing Content.
Philip, you are a God send, a true GRE guru, for sure!!! Thank you for all your detailed videos, which provide such helpful shortcuts, tips, tricks, and step-by-step instructions. Can't get enough. Please keep providing us with more gems! ❤
You know what , it might be beneficial to us mathematical philistines ( meaning me ) to make a video that explains the GRE Quant wording like : OF ,as many as , sum , than , inclusive, distinct, per etc great video as always 💕continuer comme ça !
This video is quite helpful & you've discussed some of the crucial points in the quantitative sections.I'vr really enjoyed this & appreciate to provide more videos.
Thanks for such a great video!! One doubt - if something is not mentioned specifically doesn't it mean the answer should be indecisive?because it can be anything distinct or same , positive or negative??
Hi Philip. Any tip how do I avoid making silly mistakes in math section in GRE? I end up getting 3 questions wrong every time only because of some silly mistake-either I didn't read the question properly or did some calculation mistakes. I loved watching all your videos. Thanks in advance!
@@TheTestedTutor You only have around 1.5 minutes for each question. I try to read the question slowly but it takes around 2 or 1.9 minutes if I do this. How do you manage time?
I watched almost all of your quant videos. I was almost completely familiar with all the traps and tricks in the GRE. On the test day, I freaked out a bit in the starting and lost focus and scored only a mere 157. What advice can you give me before I retake the test in 20 days?
@@TheTestedTutor I mean I have a low GPA, so gotta compensate for it with a better GRE score. Anyways, thanks for the advice and keep these free videos coming. Appreciate it.
Hi, thank you for your great website. I have to take the GRE test in two months to apply for grad school, what would you suggest to do for being completely prepared? Is two months enough time to get ready?
2 months should be enough with intense study. A good start would be to watch every gre video of mine and then follow every revision tip in them...hope that helps Melika!
For the first question, when the question says X and Y are integers between 0 and 5, does it include the integers 0 and 5? I have the same doubt about several other questions. Sometimes the question mentions that it is inclusive, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't mention it just like Question 1 in this video, what are we meant to assume? (In the video, I believe you said we could pick the number as 5 even though it doesn't mention inclusive)
The Tested Tutor Thank you for the prompt response. I understand in terms of that particular question. However, my doubt still remains as to whether the word between means that the extreme values are inclusive or not? What if the question does not mention ‘inclusive’?
The last one got me. Please make video series with these tricks.

Useful, thanx
thank you :)
I got all three.
Normally it would be written as 0 < x < 5 like that. I didn't need to pick 5, any 2 numbers in that set would have made the same point.
The Tested Tutor Thank you for the prompt response. I understand in terms of that particular question. However, my doubt still remains as to whether the word between means that the extreme values are inclusive or not? What if the question does not mention ‘inclusive’?
@@harshlakhani4171 between would mean not including extremes normally...
i got the first two
I am so thankful for your videos! So soo helpful & useful!
Thanks Neel
how to practice these tricks, Philip is there a source that I can use?
Hmm, not sure of a source just for tricks ...
You’re too good!
3 years ago damn
Amazing
greaat! thanks
Thanks 😅
This is nice
Philip, sit your tricks are really wonderful.. God bless you🌹🌹
Thanks so much
The last one didn't mention negative integers either, so the ans can still be "quantity a is larger" right?
No, the term integer includes both: positive and negative whole numbers
