Imo objective judging is ruining the style of battles nowdays it’s like showcase vs showcase
@@sfr4174 I see your point, although the showcasing style of battles nowadays is probably more a result of beatboxing just becoming more refined as a whole, and artists having more to work with in terms of identity, rather than ten years ago when all of beatboxing was either hiphop, house or dubstep inspired. I'd say this development is overall still a good thing.
