It's an audience voting system, she was just out voted by the people. She wasn't over preformed by the other contestants it's just a preference thing by the audience. She was great on the show. Good reaction!!!
I disagree with that statement. It's easy to say KZ shouldn't have gotten kicked off the show when you watch one video, try watching 8 performances in 2 hours, then remember each. The Chinese expect to be impressed vocally. KZ lacked diversity, all her songs for the most part were rock with a rap in the middle. Doing the same kind of song isn't going to impress the audience. Then there's the guitars, all wrong for the competition. KZ isn't the only person to misunderstand the competition, Jane Zhang, 2015 also got voted off.

She will not be in episode 11 but will return in episode 12 as a wild card possible with others that also exited the show and a new singer as well. she got eliminated but there's a comeback round or wildcard round on episode 12. The management of the show did it on purpose because they know people will react on it and their show will be a trending topic over the internet. Their show will gain popularity even more (publicity). Whatever the audience vote say, the management still get to decide whether who will still stay or get eliminated on the competition for the sake of their ratings. They can manipulate the votings. Angela Chang have this breakaway song that prevented her from elimination that beat and outdone Hua Chenyu ,Tengger and KZ (eliminated) and placed them 5th and 7th & 8th ??? This was just a copycat song from Xu Geyang's previous years Sing China contest...Guys there's nothing new here... What amazes me most about this performance is, she's singing/rapping in Mandarin and English, neither of which is her native language ♥♥
