Nice. Tip for a tick- snip them in half (between maul and backside). -They immediately stop sucking and moving and the maul does not inject funky organisms into you. (The way it would if you pull them off and the maul/ head is still stuck into your skin). The remaining half just dry up and can safely be removed afterward. Keep trekking. 👍🏻
I've been carrying a Gerber Dime with me for several years now and it is definitely worth the couple of ounces. One hint, don't forget to take it out of your carry on when going thru airport security! Been there, done that and lost it to the TSA bin.
I always carry a couple small and medium zip ties with me in my repair kit. They weigh next to nothing and I have used them multiple times on the trail to repair all types of broken gear.
Already ordered one of the full size neck gaiters off the web site the other day even before seeing this video today. Just the description on the website was enough to convince me to get one. Now I'm thinking of ordering a small one next month.
Thanks again for the content! Also, did you know you used the word "extremely" 73 times in this video? (I didn't count..but thought I'd bring it up in case you wanted to be more versatile😁)
@@TaysonWhittaker mid April in Algonquin Park, Ontario. already have the time booked off work, super stoked about it! thanks OV, this year's gonna be big
Carry duct tape and if you hit rock with the bottom of your kayak you can tape up the crack in the plastic and make it out as most river's are usually a long ways from road's.
I just got mine today and I have a very large head that it goes over easily and comfortably. I'd be surprised if you had problems with it not stretching enough to fit.
I am def ordering the mini/half gaiter lol so stoked to have that added to all my Ultralight gear my date of departure is coming up quickly y’all , Cya in them hills...
How about you stop changing the colors? I went to the site for the neck gaitor and green is not there, same with your packs and other items I have seen. I don't want to be flashing bright blue nor do I need everything cheap/lifeless charcoal.

Great tip! I'll remember not to do that!
The beard tuck was hilarious.

For Christmas I got one of your mid layer jackets and I love it. Love all of the ways you can cinch it up
Glad you are enjoying your jacket and putting it to good use!

Awesome! How are you going to test it out first?

Welp had that Gerber for 7 months and didn't realize till you mentioned that it had tweezers 🤦♂️
Glad to have helped in your discovery!
@@TaysonWhittaker Thank you!
Just ordered the gator this week.
You'll love it!
I like that Gerber 👍
Great video
Love the content can't wait to try your gear. I'm ordering a quilt asap.
Thanks for your support and for watching!
Nice, can't wait for them to get here.
We're pumped for you to get it!
Any chance for a larger (or XL) diameter neck gaiter? Most of them are too tight on me to be comfortable. (19" neck)

This was almost becoming a 10c's of survival video lol.

for the winds you can use your paracord and wrap your beard on your face no need of a neck gaiter!!! lol kidding man. That neck gaiter looks good.

If you don't see the color it's because it's sold out.
"Here's a gear piece that I never take with me" is a sure way to discredit your entire video.
