A lot of these games getting released on Evercade collections were previously part of the game lineups for other devices such as the Super Retrocade and At Games Legends in recent years. Makes me wonder if anything much else is available for licensing as it seems to be a bit of a retread at times. Games resurfacing on various collections elsewhere are probably better than disappearing altogether though, so it's swings and roundabouts at the end of the day.
Really looking forward to Toaplan 3 which I was hoping would happen. As some of the Data East collection is on Super Retrocade it doesn't feel as fresh but I'll take it as they will look & play better on Evercade. And thanks for showing some extended footage of each game, it was great to see just a bit more of a sneaky peek! 👍 Btw nice to see your machines in the background, the mother and father of Silver PKade! 😎😀😉 Good video Game Freak, Cheers!
I can't wait to get my hands on these. The first Data East and Toaplan carts are some of my favorite on the system. That pre order date can't come soon enough, I'll be throwing down my money as soon as they begin taking the orders!
Same here! Not sure if I’ll pre-order though. I rarely do that because I’ve been burned too many times lol. I’m definitely ordering on day one of the release though 👍
@@GameFreak1976 I 💯 agree with you on new upcoming console releases. I can't even remember the last time that I pre-ordered one of those. I'm willing to take a chance on these $20 Evercade cartridges though. It seems like Blaze has been really cool about replacing cartridges when they don't work properly, at least so far, lol. Those big name publishers tend to pull some shady shit sometimes with their console releases. I would hate shelling out like $70 for a major release, just to have it be loaded with bugs and not get properly fixed until months, or sometimes years later. Hey, it's Friday brother, and I hope that you have a great weekend! I'm enjoying having a beer and trying out that EDF on the Jaleco cart with that arcade stick tonight! GAME ON!!!
These are both strong Arcade Cart releases with Toaplan 3 catering to the hard-core shmup fans and Data East 2 having a good variety that will appeal to the more casual gamer. I'm sure there will be many that are disappointed that there's no new licences like Konami, Sega or Taito but there's always next year :-) Keep up the awesome work!
This is nice!!! Phew, I feel like I've been waiting two years to get arcade releases like this. I know there was a lot of hype in Evercade channels about adding some new big licenses (I guess it was TombRaider?) but to get carts from existing companies this is pretty nice. I would have liked to get Boogie Wings and Night Slashers on Data East as that would kick the cart up a notch (several stinkers out of 12) but I have them elsewhere and Toaplan 3 looks awesome!! Batsugun in particular is a personal favorite that's very friendly even to those who find shooters too difficult and Outzone is awesome and the other shooters look really good too. I wouldn't have minded if they included Grind Stormer but you can't ask for everything 😁 and even without out Toaplan could be one of the best carts offered in my opinion.
I agree! I think this Toaplan 3 collection might be the best cart in the entire collection to be honest. For the longest time, my favorite cart has been the Cathedral/Alwas Awakening cart….but the Toaplan 3 looks like it may top it.
Yea I think these carts were leaked. Something happened to the tomb raider collection. It's kind of crazy how things get leaked sometimes. But at least we know what they are and we can get excited for them😊. These collections are looking like they will be good ones. I'm looking forward to see what the new giga cart will be.
I agree! Some people hate when these things are leaked, but actually kinda like it lol. It gives us all a “pre” heads up on what’s coming 😂. Looking forward to both of these carts and the TR collection👍
This one looks great too!! I never thought I'd see an authentically emulated Super Burgertime! In fact, many of these games I never thought Data East would ever bring to a home console!! Joy, joy! Somebody VERY COOL is making these happen. Evercade is for me. When can we get TAD on board in this mutha?!!!!
Don't worry Burger Time for me & my friends we called it the One Hitter Quitter. It was like they couldn't bring the magic over to the other levels. The 1st level was perfect & that is the only level i ever played. After the 1st level we would hit reset & repeat. All i had to hear as a kid was a mom say, "Ewww, did you guys realize he is walking all over that food who would eat that?" That is all i had to hear to play this game over & over again! What this game is not on there, okay i need re-watch this video. Please disregard this comment. Ha-Ha!
@@erneststackhouse1133, 😂😂😂…it’s all good. Actually, the first BurgerTime is on the Data East 1 collection. This cart has Super BurgerTime…which is pretty much the same concept 👍
The Alpha required arcade carts so no surprise. Happy to get them! Data East choices are a bit weak IMO. Toaplan is best by far-- and not a huge shmup fan.

Thanks buddy! Yeah I did some rearranging in the GameRoom. I have so much more room now👍
Will be picking of them
Definitely do a review/reaction! Would love to see how you like it👍
I'm getting them both also. The Toaplan looks the better of the 2, but I'm interested to try both.
Same here👍….I think the Toaplan definitely looks like the better cart of the two. I’m pretty excited to get both though.

@@jmatt781, hell yeah brother! Enjoy and game on!!🤘🤘🤘
Also I never knew Peter Pepper stopped making burgers and switched to ice cream
I guess he was thinking….”Hey, why not make some dessert as well” 😂
I see someone saying on the official trailer "why another Burger Time game, I'm bored of it", wait till they see this ha! 😆

Toaplan 3 is my favorite cart and it’s not even out yet
That’s the way I’m feeling too! Can’t wait for it to release!

The Dada east cart looks awsome! Definitely getting that one. I'll grab toaplan 3 if I got the extra cash
I’m just glad we are finally getting some Arcade carts!👍👍👍
@GameFreak1976 yes it's been to long. We need even more!
Good god about time for Purple. It's too bad it's another Toaplan though. I wanted something really new. Maybe next game drop.
I agree…although this Toaplan collection looks great in my opinion. Batsugun alone will make the cart worth it. It’s such a great game👍

I agree, it’s definitely the weaker of the 2.
Colonel, you better take a look at this radar.
What is it, son?
I don't know, sir, but it looks like a giant--
