I was pondering if she actually went away for a prolonged period of time or merely went to Hogsmeade for an hour… It can be rather difficult to tell with Severus… I doubt he trusts any woman after the way Lily treated him…personally I thought it was pretty shabby…she was starting to fall for James when he insulted her and therefore found the perfect excuse to be rid of him…😢😢😢
I agree. I am no Lily fan. She was a terrible friend. He was in a chaotic state of stress and embarrassment when he called her a mudblood. She embarrassed him further by publicly calling out James. She should have put him on his arse with a spell. Instead she walked away and let Snape be bullied further. When he tried to apologize she turned her back on him. No compassion or sympathy. What a wrench. Drove him right into the arms of the deatheaters. I blame her for everything that happened.
